How did people start to believe in this trans stuff?

I’m talking about the ’allys’, the one’s who believe in all this?
How did it make sense to them that women have penis’ now, that transwomen can compete with women, that men who were so oppressive yesterday can today be the most oppressed transwomen?

How did they get to that point?
How did it make sense to them?

To be complitely honest, I tried/ am trying to ’be nice’ and understand, but the more I read (from trans people, allys) the less it makes sense.
I wanted to understand, but my brain won’t let me.

“So open minded their brains have fallen out “

janeinthewild · 26/05/2023 22:14

@Anklespraying I'm talking about the 99% of trans people who have nothing to do with stealing spaces, being child predators, whatever preconceived ideas people often have about them

@StephanieSuperpowers I have reached the judgement that I support and trust transgender people.

Trans people deserve the same respect that all other people deserve. That includes female people.

Do you agree that female single sex spaces should remain single sex? Prisons? Refuges? Communal changing rooms? And female sports categories remain female only?

Does that mean you trust male trans people more than you trust male people in general? Because safeguarding risk is based on sex and not gender.

If you trust them more, why? What evidence have you seen that they commit sex crime less than male people in general?

Or while respecting trans people, including female trans people, do you think solutions could be found to accommodate women and girl’s needs while addressing the need of trans people for safety?

You seem to have little understanding that the people who you speak about are few and far between in the current trans world.

janeinthewild · 26/05/2023 22:20

@Helleofabore Everyone returns to me with the same arguments. I don't need it repeated to me, I am well aware that there are issues. But pretty much all trans people have NOTHING to do with sport competitions, behaving in an innapropriate or predatory way or any of those things. You can support women and trans people at the same time those are not mutually exclusive things

janeinthewild · 26/05/2023 22:21

@Anklespraying Sources? Statistics? Prove to me that the majority of transgender people are predators.

Anklespraying · 26/05/2023 22:21

Why?

Nellodee · 26/05/2023 22:22

1 in 4 women have been raped or sexually abused. The amount of men who are sex offenders is sadly far greater than 1%
Transwomen are at least as likely to be sexually offenders as other men, with the most recent British statistics available pointing towards levels of offending in transwomen being considerably higher than in the general male population.

MrsSkylerWhite · 26/05/2023 22:23

I’m very much a live and let live person. But it’s bleeding obvious that someone born a make, who went through make puberty, should not be competing against women born as women.

MrsSkylerWhite · 26/05/2023 22:24

Male 🥴

AmuseBish · 26/05/2023 22:24

It doesn't matter what anyone "is like". Either you think sex matters in some circumstances or you think it never matters and gender-feeling should be used to differentiate people.

You don't need to know what any particular person "is like" to think about how changes in law and policy to eradicate sex could be misused by anybody, trans or not, however you even define "trans".

janeinthewild · 26/05/2023 22:25

Anklespraying · 26/05/2023 22:21

Why?

Because you can't make wild claims that can't be backed up.

That is true of all men

Most are good men

But there is no difference between transwomen and men. And a lot of women are harmed by the ~10% of men who are not good

The person claimed that far more trans people are predators than are not. Do you have evidence for that?

Anklespraying · 26/05/2023 22:26

The current approach we are dealing with is that men who identify as women are entitled to go where they want, and are pushing this extremely aggressively.
This is the state of play you seem oblivious to @janeinthewild

midgemadgemodge · 26/05/2023 22:27

You can only really support transowmen and women if you accept that they need and deserve different types of support because ... they are not the same so their problems are different, solutions will be different

janeinthewild · 26/05/2023 22:27

@midgemadgemodge And yet men are allowed to live without constant criticism from MN

I am again requesting sources and statistics. It seems you have pulled this information from thin air

Anklespraying · 26/05/2023 22:27

Why can't we criticise this agressive male behaviour?

Nellodee · 26/05/2023 22:28

More recently than the stats I have just posted, we have had the census results, which put for the first time an upper limit on the amount of transwomen in the country. Given this new information, it looks as though transwomen are up to five tunes more likely than other men to end up in prison for a sex crime.

midgemadgemodge · 26/05/2023 22:28

If someone claimed that transwomen were predominantly predators please report the post as that's wrong and inflammatory and that kind of talk doesn't help

Haven't found the post you refer to myself

@StephanieSuperpowers I have reached the judgement that I support and trust transgender people.

And you will take responsibility if women are harmed in female prisons by male prisoners?

That was not the point made. It was outrageously claimed that the number of innocent trans people is 'few and far between' nobody is able to back this up.

Anklespraying · 26/05/2023 22:30

Again you are oblivious to all the information men put in the public domain.

Take a look instead of posting here as if the entire porn soaked internet doesn't exist and expecting us to pander to your innocence.
