Is anyone here going?
I booked train tickets a while ago and am looking forward to it but starting to get nervous and wonder how safe it will be?
Obviously there will be lots of tra as Posie is back for the first time since NZ.
I'm worried about escalation from the posts I've seen on Facebook/twitter.

This is not Posie's first London LWS since New Zealand. She was at Hyde Park on Easter Sunday. No trouble at all.

The nature of the site is that you can see trouble coming from a distance. You could arrive after the start and see what's happening as you arrive from a distance, but you'd miss the chatting beforehand which is fun too.

I hope you go, and have fun!

itsmylife7 · 29/04/2023 01:00

I'm sure it'll be fine as strangley since more Men have been attending.....less trouble makers have attended .....very strange isn't it.😉

TangledUpinBlu · 29/04/2023 08:09

Ah yes I forgot she was there at Easter.
I will definitely be there, hoping to be there for the chatting beforehand and will have time for one in the pub after before I get my train home.
Hopefully will be well attended and peaceful.

Please take some pics for those of us not able to attend. Hope you have a great day.

I think Glinner retweeted a tra who was summoning the flying monkeys. If they do show up I hope the Police continue with their improved policing. It'd be interesting to see if they stand up should the tras be back in numbers.

I hope all the LWS attendees have a great time, wishing you good weather 🌞

ToriaB · 29/04/2023 15:09

We had an excellent police presence on Easter Sunday and they'll be there again tomorrow: they've been following the anti-women terrorist protagonists on Twitter and are well prepared to engage with them. We should have police horses again!
Our numbers keep growing. It's incredibly empowering to be in with a crowd of like-minded women. Look forward to seeing you there!

Allthegoodnamesarechosen · 29/04/2023 15:11

For everyone of you who is there, there are a hundred who can’t go, but you are representing us.

Thank you.

Redshoeblueshoe · 29/04/2023 15:13

I hope you enjoy it. I'll be watching the live stream.

chilling19 · 29/04/2023 15:26

Yes I will watch too. Hope you all have a fab day.

Anactor · 29/04/2023 15:31

To be utterly cynical, most London university terms don’t restart until Tuesday. I don’t think there’ll be that many TRAs, even if there are posts summoning the flying monkeys.

I was very worried about going on Easter Sunday, because it was the first time since New Zealand - but went in the end because I knew it was going to be the only time I could go for the next few months. Great time, great policing and I could actually hear most of the speakers. Hope you have an equally great time.

This idiot. I hope the police have a word...

I Haven't watched all of the video (there's a short version on twitter) but did see the purple and green flag for Terf Island.

Funnily enough a friend of mine did that design last summer and called it the United Kingdom of Terf! (Will get her to watch the video)

I suspect many have done something similar, and it is good to know it will be being sold as stickers to raise money to pay for the costs of putting on the events.

As they say great minds think alike.

I am hoping to watch the early part of the live stream. I am assuming its the usual link.

Hope all goes well. Weather is looking good.

And am sure all the TRAs will be home with Mummy and Daddy just waiting to have their sunday roast served up to them.

ballstomonty · 30/04/2023 09:29

Hi Tangled I’m going today, will also be alone. I’m happy to meet up if you would like to?

OhDearWhyAmIFatterly · 30/04/2023 10:07

Hello, I am going, but my friend can't come now so I'm alone. I've been lots of times on my own but this time i feel a bit eorried as its been a while! Happy to meet up if you like?

Florissant · 30/04/2023 10:25

I wish I could go. Have fun!

Woman2023 · 30/04/2023 10:46

I'm another one who had planned to be there but a family illness is keeping me away.

PappedOot · 30/04/2023 11:16

Have a great one! So true there are legions of us who cannot make it but they’re in spirit!

Boiledbeetle · 30/04/2023 13:15

And we can hear everything!. The TRAs have been kept away it seems

Boiledbeetle · 30/04/2023 13:17

Nice sign behind her

Lots of police

BluebellBlueballs · 30/04/2023 13:40

Glad to report police are keeping TRAs at a distance and therefore letting women not only speak but be heard. Finally someone got the memo.

GailBlancheViola · 30/04/2023 13:47

Doesn't look like many TRAs heeded the call to be there.

Boiledbeetle · 30/04/2023 13:52

One of the LWS stewards has been assaulted according to Twitter
