Plenty of the female-named Mills and Boon writers are men who use female pen names because women like to read a romance (apparently) written by other women.

Any author can use whatever name they prefer if they think it will give them a larger readership. They'd be foolish not to.

It doesn't change their sex (or even their gender).

I think the general tone here is brilliant-
calmly looking at nonsense and observing 'Hmmm, that's complete nonsense.' There's really no winning against that. Idiocy can stamp it's feel and scream "Look at me and take me seriously! Be scared, be anything, but react." If you look calmly at it and don't react you zap all the power out of the inflammatory whateveritis.

Also James Lindsay presents a nice overview of the woke, critical costructivist, cultural marxist belief system (which encompasses really radical trans ideology.) Anyone familiar with him as well as the Harry Potter stories, what do you think of the analogy of the different strains of that ideology (post-colonialism, CRT, intersectionality etc) as horcruxes?
