BK is a horribly disturbing case on so many levels.

Added to which is the bizarre idea that keeping anyone in solitary - necessary, I understand, because of him being a danger to women in the prison population - is in any way more 'humane' than holding him in a male prison.

How the hell this story hasn't peaked Ireland, I do not know. I suppose the forementioned media blackout will mean many are not even aware.

A trans predator who raped a friend with ‘her penis’ was convicted of having sex with an underage teenage girl when she was a man.

Lexi-Rose Crawford was an 18-year-old biological male called Dominic Risden when he was jailed for four years in 2017 for having sex with the girl he met online.

It is believed the trans predator will be sent to a male prison if she is given a custodial sentence for rape, despite being referred to as Miss by lawyers and Judge Michael Longman throughout her four-day trial last week.

BK was sentenced today, it was not on the national news (RTE) or TV3. No mention of it. That's weird.

B K is very dangerous and in a women’s prison. They have not had surgery and I think not hormone treatment either. They have self-IDed under the Irish system.

I notice BK was sexually abused as a child, and was also put into care - both known to be factors behind gender dysphoria though on the petition to have her moved from Limerick women’s prison it says people think B K doesn’t suffer from gender dysphoria.

If there is a lack of reporting on the subject now, without any injunction, then there is not so much an imposed blackout as voluntary silence. As we see quite often on similar subjects elsewhere.
