Kardashian, 21, of no fixed abode, but originally from the Midlands, had 15 previous convictions including for threats to kill, sexual assault, assault causing harm, assault, and causing criminal damage to property.

And sent to a women's prison.

He is unbelievably violent and dangerous. Ireland's misogyny runs deep.

I read quite a bit about this case when it was first in the news. Kardashian was sent to the Tavistock clinic as Ireland does to minors who have gender dysphoria. The sources I saw stated that the clinician there had suspected Kardashian of not having dysphoria but of playing the system.

Whether this is true or not, this example is extremely troubling.

Interesting that they haven't provided a picture of said 'woman'.

If it wasn't so disgusting and serious it would be a joke.

Of course they said it wouldn't happen.

It's tragic that I'm grateful there is reporting on this.

There was a time where it felt like there was a media blackout on kardashian.

He's been in the prison for a while I think, although I am not sure about that.
This will probably lead to a woman being hurt, but women are fairly far down the pecking order in Ireland still.
There is a petition to get him moved but I am not sure if there is any point.

There is a petition on the petitions board (under classified) about this case. The issue of males in women's prisons in Ireland (there have been at least three) has been raised in the Dáil recently too, in light of what was going on in Scotland. Handwaved away by the justice minister for now, but the pressure should be kept up.

Kardashian has been held in Limerick Women's Jail for some time, ifrc.

I confess I haven't rechecked, but I'm sure the women's section is small at around 30 beds, and it had 3 TW in there. That's a fairly high percentage.

That photograph is terrifying - the person looks like a murderous clown. If I saw them coming toward me I would exit stage left, at speed.

1 man to 10 women?

It’s like each has a hareem.

I think Barbie was already in the women's prison for the violent assault of a social worker, who had her eyelids torn off.
The transwomen are reported to be kept separate from the female prisoners and I think that they are locked in their cells for about 23 hours a day.
I am not sure what the point of them being kept in such an environment is, apart from validating their identity.

Should be in a place like Broadmoor.

Fucking hell, I can't believe this psychopath of a man has been housed near women.

Put him with the other male sex offenders. The absolute state of it.

I was talking about this the other day - this is the very first thing I read that prompted me to read how a woman could be so violent. Obviously once I read it, more and more case sushi as this cropped up. It was this very case that made me so vehemently opposed to men in women's spaces and the absurdity of reporting male offences as women's crimes.

Have looked for petition and can't find. Any chance of a link to the thread it's on? If that's allowed.

Handwaved away, of course, because it is not them or theirs who have to share spaces with Barbie Kardashian.

Misogynist cowards the lot of them.

I've had a good look into this case and this person is very dangerous and very frightening. The person in question has been the subject of court hearings for years but because they were underage for a lot of it, they weren't named in the media. They come from a very troubled background and have exhibited extremely troubling behaviour from a very young age.
