Continuation of Thread 3.

There is so much excellent information and so many active discussions on FWR that I wondered if it would be useful to have a thread to sort of "cross-fertilise" between them - airing little thoughts or vignettes that wouldn't themselves merit their own thread, to highlight other posts/threads of particular interest or to point to notable developments on fast-moving threads so that casual observers know where to look.

(For example, "the X thread has meandered onto a fascinating discussion of Y" or "Poster P's amazing analysis on thread Z might have relevance to the scenario in thread W" or "Has anybody noticed this recurring theme that keeps coming up??" or even "Random bloke asked me to smile while I was choosing onions, grr"- that sort of thing).

The only thing I know about JHB outside of the clips that get shared here is that she was a Brexiteer.

Which I guess IS enough to get her branded as vile?

Not that I personally think Brexiteers are vile but it’s seemingly enough to get you demonised for over 5 years straight.

I've heard JHB was beyond the pale, but bearing in mind the KJK slurs, I too would like some specifics.

Wise, cake. She's just not a lefty, plus she is awesome. Outspoken, disagreeable, confident - all the things they hate a woman to be.

You know I'm fairly sure I remember which way i voted. But i couldn't stake my life on what my mood was on the actual day so... I'm not 100% sure if i was a remainer or a leaver! I should have listened...don't do drugs kids it's messes with your brain!

The thing with all the nitpicking about women...

I'm a very flawed person. My view on some things make no sense to others but make perfect sense to me, for reasons that I may not be willing to divulge to the person I'm talking to.

If someone was to judge me and dismiss me on my views on just some things then they would be missing out on the other 80% of me which is, in my narcissistic opinion, absolutely bloody amazing. So they'd be cutting off their noses to spite their faces!

I'm perfect, but have trouble keeping my glasses on. Keep sliding down my face for some reason.

So, newspapers will correctly sex criminals but only when they're actually women.

Wonder if Transgender Day of Vengeance is still on in DC on the 1st. I hope not it could be a bloodbath. I'm genuinely horrified at what might happen.

Re JHB, yes she's right wing but that's not what makes her "vile", if she is vile. She plays the man/woman, not the ball and I find this problematic whoever is doing it. There are many but they all seem to squish together. Recently she said she'd choose Andrew Tate's life every single time over the life of a half-educated , autistic, doom mongering eco-cultist. This was in response to the small dick energy comeback by Thunberg to Tate. She deleted the tweet then put it back without "autistic" because people had been "offended". She found this boring.

She is of course entitled to not like Greta Thunberg and what she stands for. She's also entitled to getting in some false equivalence with the whole small dick energy, and to be fair this was before the full truth about Tate came out, but it was the way she decided to word it. This is generally her modus operandi. It's not pleasant.

Unfortunately for the right, the columnists most guilty of this sort of interaction tend to be on "their side", although the likes of Owen Jones are giving them a run for their money. It's lazy and pandering to the lowest common denominator.

I have heard shit about KJK too but no evidence of it. As far as I know she's right wing and from a working class background. I know that she doesn't consider herself a feminist. That doesn't make her "vile". I think that a lot of people don't like working class women with a voice. I have no doubt that she has views I wouldn't agree with but when it comes to speaking up for women in this war on our rights she's with the angels as far as I'm concerned. There is no comparison between her and JHB. None JHB trolls for cash. KJK fights for our rights. She is a fine human being. JHB is not.

I can't imagine they would be that tone deaf as to still go ahead with a trans day of vengeance with firearm training after a transman killed six people, including three 9(?) year olds in a school with two guns.

If they do they may just bring their own cause to a crashing end in one day.

I think that the TRA have already shown just how tone deaf they are, only exultant stuff about how they won in NZ.
