Kellie is still getting harassed by TRAs it seems. Come and support if you can at Trowbridge Police Station, midday on 24th Feb.

She asked for carrots this afternoon to help pay her legal fees and she is close to 5 and a half already, more than the 3 she needed urgently. What a woman.

"Indicative of a police force that has lost sight of what we face as women as we walk through this world."

Section 5 public order offence

Boiledbeetle · 24/02/2023 13:16

I NEVER LOSE

mirax · 24/02/2023 13:18

So the offence is simply a public disorder offence - any more details?

Boiledbeetle · 24/02/2023 13:18

It looks like misgendering

ArabellaScott · 24/02/2023 13:19

Oops x post

ArabellaScott · 24/02/2023 13:19

Be ironic if they'd have to misgender KJK to charge her for that. The law is all 'he'.

nilsmousehammer · 24/02/2023 13:19

Take heart, for Mrs Pankhurst has been clapped in irons! (Again.)

Ereshkigalangcleg · 24/02/2023 13:20

They said it was stirring up hatred on the grounds of homophobia originally.

GrabbyGabby · 24/02/2023 13:20

Id like to see this one go to court.
Have her to swear on the bible to tell the full and honest truth. That should be the only defence needed.

Mummyoflittledragon · 24/02/2023 13:21

Brilliant thank you for the live stream. There were a lot of women supporting Posie today.

Boiledbeetle · 24/02/2023 13:21

I to would like to see this go to court

BEST song ever made for a musical.

Unable to follow this as I'm dipping in and out of work - but - all this was about .... misgendering? THAT's falling under the banner of 'harassment, alarm or distress - prompting an interview with threat of arrest - did I understand that correctly?

thirdfiddle · 24/02/2023 13:22

Don't think it's that bit EndlessTea and Arabella. Keep scrolling down, there's a bit labelled Section 3a) that talks about "stirring up hatred" which I quoted from up thread.

GrabbyGabby · 24/02/2023 13:23

Do we know who the complainant is?

nilsmousehammer · 24/02/2023 13:24

CPS considering if there's a case to answer. (Again.)

Posie cheerfully referring to stating her case in court. And she would, she would would do it with absolute clarity and no mucking about. That would make for very interesting stories in the national press.

GrabbyGabby · 24/02/2023 13:25

Bob Geldof will be getting a bit jumpy round about now.

Helleofabore · 24/02/2023 13:26

So, the CPS is 'still' considering if there is a case.

They must know that this is bonkers and how this is going to play out. I am surprised though by just how the trans community thinks this will help them. I really question that thinking.

Have you met them? Not the sharpest tools in the box. They like shouting at babies.
