Can you imagine the school board trying to discuss this? It's clearly been a big issue, attracted worldwide attention, much ridicule, drawn huge attention to the school and board. What must it be like when the govenors attempt to discuss it knowing if they say the wrong thing, or something they say is taken the wrong way by another govenor that another shitshow will ensue. It must be like walking on eggshells for them, and if he is trolling they probably know it but they have no choice to play along and be subject to all the unwanted negative attention. If he is trolling, it is highest level trolling worthy of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. I bet he has a lawyer advising him on how to ensure he can keep using the rules against the school board. I also wouldn't be surpried if the school board were making him ever larger offers of cash just to fuck off and leave them alone.

Used to work with a bloke like this. Started off wearing a mixture of (suitable) clothing types (eg sometimes a skirt suit and heels, sometimes a mens suit and so on) and nobody batted an eyelid as we are an accepting workplace. Because we accepted him he started to gradually push the boundaries of acceptability until one day I saw him walk past my desk in fishnets, stripper heels, suspender belt and corset.

He was very quickly suspended and terminated as he should have been and we were all adults.

What he's demonstrated beautifully is the utter loss of boundaries and common sense at the school. I would hope that it's put into special measures and the staff who failed to safeguard their students form abuse are removed and demoted. Staff are in loco parentis: you have to be able to trust them to have and maintain boundaries. Canada is where we'd be if Labour were in charge.

I understand this might be a glaringly stupid question but in any workplace there are standards of 'professional' workplace wear, a dress-code if you like. How is it that this person can carry on like that without it contravening some kind of code? Be it many years ago I was once pulled up for wearing jeans when it wasn't Friday so regardless of KL's identity why are the tits allowed to fly?
