Get what you meant, OP. Thanks for posting.

This man publicly dresses up in an overtly sexualised woman suit BUT only in front of children.

That sounds like something.....

Yeah,I'm sure there's a word for that sort of thing.🤔

JellySaurus · 18/02/2023 09:54

ArabellaScott · 18/02/2023 09:37

'he says he's a part-time transvestite then he is not covered by the UK EA2010's definition of 'gender reassignment'

How is he not? That definition is so vague as to be totally meaningless.

I was thinking about this bit:

'A person has the protected characteristic of gender reassignment if the person is proposing to undergo, is undergoing or has undergone a process (or part of a process) for the purpose of reassigning the person's sex by changing physiological or other attributes of sex.

But, you're right, that itself is so vague as to be meaningless.

JellySaurus · 18/02/2023 09:57

*This man publicly dresses up in an overtly sexualised woman suit BUT only in front of children.

That sounds like something.....* that gender-identity-based law effectively protects.

TheDogthatDug · 18/02/2023 10:08

He's trolling

Moopsi · 18/02/2023 10:08

I think it's great that he's advertising the madness of gender identity, deliberate or not. I just feel sorry for the children he is teaching and their parents.

But high profile fetishism like this can only help to open people's eyes to the Illogical, regressive, misogynistic and dangerous nature of gender ideology. And its relationship with AGP.

picklemewalnuts · 18/02/2023 10:34

I agree with you @pattihews

I think you misread me.

ReunitedThorns · 18/02/2023 11:39

Personally I think he is trolling, but in reality it shouldn't matter what his intentions are it shouldn't be allowed.

Too many people are concerned about what his intentions are, whether it's a fetish or not. There should be policies in place that what he is wearing is unsuitable, and dangerous in woodwork classes. But unfortunately when you have policies in place to protect "trans" people, anyone can abuse them.

This is very similar to the debate around the banning of religious head coverings, I believe there the policy was to ban all head coverings (whether religious, or motorcycle helmets etc), but as soon as someone could claim it was religious wear it took on another argument, not the fact that head covering were unsuitable in certain situations.

Trans, trolling, fetish, predator, it doesn't matter, it is unsuitable dress.

ÉireannachÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉÉ · 18/02/2023 11:41

Fecking freak.
He gets off on exposing his kink to children. There's a word for that.....

MissLucyEyelesbarrow · 18/02/2023 13:27

Trans, trolling, fetish, predator, it doesn't matter, it is unsuitable dress

That is true, of course, but he is doing a fabulous job of exposing the madness of gender identity. I bet every girl in that school is now a T*RF 😉

flabbygoldfish · 18/02/2023 13:31

As far as I can see he is dressing like a man in all of those photos, in not one of them is he dressed like a woman …

NeighbourhoodWatchPotholeDivision · 18/02/2023 13:44

JellySaurus · 18/02/2023 09:30

So although according to Stonewall PB is trans, if he says he's a part-time transvestite then he is not covered by the UK EA2010's definition of 'gender reassignment'. Though clearly he and his employers think he is!

I wonder which of these views - Stonewall or EA - the Canadian Govt has enshrined in law.

There is another individual in the UK who thinks the EA 2010 protects part-time identification, and speaks to businesses, telling staff the same. I have obscured identifying details, but this really does seem to be a genuine person.

I'm not so sure. Don't these extreme cases just widen the range of what is considered to be acceptable?

Honestly breasts that size are so impractical even if they aren’t heavy I feel like it would be frustrating going through everyday life like that. I’m not surprised he takes them off.

Every woman I know who had breasts larger than a DD wanted a reduction as they were lowering the quality of their lives, drawing unwanted attention and causing them severe back pain!

Completely off topic, but I wear an E cup and have pretty small boobs comparatively. I don't necessarily even need a bra all the time. I run, weight lift, cycle etc. Never caused an ounce of trouble. I don't think "above a DD" means much tbh.

On topic, Christ on a tandem. What a bloody shocker. Pervs gonna perv. Wouldn't it be lovely if we could stop the powers designed to protect children from endorsing this paraphilia.

That has to be a parody.

I am legally a man Monday to Friday and legally a woman at the weekend.

We’re all through the bloody looking glass given that it’s not immediately obvious whether that’s a serious claim or taking the piss.

Does it matter?

IDK, in the UK exhibitionist paraphilia/flashing does depend on intent.

What he is doing, without a shadow of doubt, is wearing sexualised fetish gear to teach children.

So the issue I suppose is whether it's acceptable to exhibit/perform a fetish while teaching children.

The school seems to be saying that it's okay so long as the fetish is not too outlandish.

CryInToYourCornflakesNicola · 18/02/2023 14:51

picklemewalnuts · 18/02/2023 07:23

We don't know yet, I imagine one day we'll find out his motivation.

I think he's being awkward, trolling people. The initial walk up and down was getting his courage up, working out what the reaction was going to be.

I think he's doing it to annoy the authorities, wind up whatever school grievance he has, and generally point the finger at woke culture.

I don't think it's a fetish.
It's still abusive to those children, and a disgusting parody of women.

This, the more I think about this it's more like trolling than a fetish.

Terrible that children are being involved too though. Not fair on them.

I've PMed you his business website so you can make a more informed judgement.

It seems a lot of effort to go for parody to me, but I would love to be convinced otherwise.

NeighbourhoodWatchPotholeDivision · 18/02/2023 14:59

Sorry, forgot that it's a Saturday: her website.

AnnoyedwithGossips · 18/02/2023 15:10

That's because he has a fetish to dress like he thinks a woman should look when teaching children but in real life he dresses as he feels comfortable.

A man with a fetish in the classroom!

AnnoyedwithGossips · 18/02/2023 15:20

Or perhaps he is a man that wishes to show up the illogical thought process that dictates that a man can be a woman and a trans woman is a woman. I mean he really helps show up how stupid this all is.

DemiColon · 18/02/2023 15:25

I tend to think trolling rather than fetish, but either way it's completely inappropriate.

I would be curious to know what sort of "toxic masculinity" he was supposedly guilty of. I can easily imagine idiots at a Canadian school being idiots about that too.

IcakethereforeIam · 18/02/2023 15:27

Isn't there a bloke, ...Pippa/Philip Bunce who cross dresses part time? He won an award supposed to go to a woman in the field that he works in iirc.

ReadersD1gest · 18/02/2023 15:41

VikingVolva · 18/02/2023 06:50

She's wearing pretty much the spring "uniform" at our school gates

Didn't realise were were all men

No wonder "let clothes be clothes" struggles to catch on.

He is quite clearly no longer dressing as a parody of a woman.
