Are the men she means non-violent criminals like benefit fraudsters, traitors or TV licence evaders?

Of so why not put all categories of non violent criminals who might be frightened of the other male prisoners into women’s prisons?

Some men want to live as women and should be indulged in this by being allowed to live in the women's estate. (And apparently have nappies, be brought bottles and walk hand in hand with guards when they leave their cells ffs.)

I wonder what the women forced to live with males would want, and why this isn't equally indulged?

If we're going to start with a policy that any man convicted of a sex offense or violent crime is automatically excluded from the women's estate full stop, ok, it's a start. Let's extend that please to any male who uses their maleness to intimidate, harass, put in fear, deprive of privacy and dignity or assault any woman in the women's estate is immediately bumped back to the male estate without hope of return.

But they are men. They have no business being in with women because they want to. The bloody line for women isn't 'not actually seriously injured, violated or dead'. Women would like all this bullshit to go away if it's a hearts, minds and special wishes kind of thing with the SNP.

The proposed England and Wales line of no prisoners with male genitalia and/or a history of sexual offending would be a much better one, with a presumption that these males' needs can be met in other ways that don't use women as bloody therapy aids and support animals.

And GRCs should have no bearing on the above: male genitalia, or history of sex offending = not a bloody chance.

We know that many men who have sex with women are "flexible" in all male environments - male sexual desire can be a moveable feast so no, I would disagree with NS that a rapist of men would be a safe person for women to be housed with.

I'm going to take a wild guess though that a rapist like that won't be looking for a move to the female estate, what with it being their choice (extra rights).

Weren’t GRCs originally going to depend on men having had surgery but wasn’t there then pressure from the European Court of Human Rights saying it was against human rights to insist on surgery.

So could a good lawyer argue that barring a man who believes they are a woman from the prison that fits their ‘gender’ because they still have genitalia is brutal blackmail?
