Is the fact that no one’s got an issue with where trans men go not evidence enough that is the male predators who may reside within the trans women situation that opponents to self Id are concerned about in the main. Does that not show it’s not about transphobia. Bottom line is you either believe trans women are women or you don’t. If you don’t think they’re women you probably argue for a third space in sport, prison, refuges, and toilets etc. Problem solved for opponents and most trans people. It might offend the dysphoric (for want of a better word until dysphoris is disproven) but it’s a healthy compromise.

Well as any woman knows they have a 1 in 5 chance of being raped or suffering serious sexual assault during their adult lives- significantly higher than being shot by a drug dealer. Therefore women are quite reasonable in having this fear.
