I noticed that there were quite a few placards from a group called "Patriotic Alternative" at the Tate protest against drag queens.

This was the same group active in Knowsley protesting against asylum seekers. They have many documented links with the extreme right.

I wonder if @scrollingleaves who has been so active in organising the protest on Mumsnet has any connection with Patriotic Alternative?

No. I have no idea who they are and hadn’t heard of them till now.

I am interested in art, so very disappointed in the Tate’s stupidity, and the Tate acting in a way that could harm children.
