KJK assaulted at Hyde Park SFW meeting

Could have added this to several threads, however couldn't decide which.

A man approached KJK and threw liquid in her face - turned out to be water but obviously could also have been acid, urine etc. It was captured on film (can't find the video at the moment.)

This is an actual crime of common assault. Common assault: the maximum sentence is six months' custody. if the assault is against an emergency worker, the maximum sentence is one year's custody. if the assault is racially or religiously aggravated, the maximum sentence is two years' custody.

He has been given a Community Order and banned from going into Hyde Park. Given that this was done in the context of a mob holding up threatening signs and the purpose was obviously to intimidate and frighten women holding a peaceful meeting this seems pretty lenient to me. So much for the VAWG strategy

Yes, the banners at Hyde Park yesterday seemed far madder than the usual TWAW ones.

Really distressing that two women were assaulted there yesterday.

I am absolutely sick of a blind eye being turned to abuse of women. Sick of it. I despair for the world my DD is growing up in. Public verbal and written abuse in plain sight yet again.

Once again, it's clear that everybody knows perfectly well what a woman is, because they know which people's behaviour to indulge/turn a blind eye, and which people to allow being assaulted.

Two men were arrested, I think? One definitely charged as mentioned above, and the other who assaulted DJ Lippy not sure as yet, but she says that she's pressing charges.

The police were actually ok overall - the assault on KJK happened just as she was walking over, but surprisingly the offender was allowed to hang around for the rest of the proceedings, filming us. Saw him talking to the police as i left at the end.

Didn't see the second assault, but saw the arrest, hope he's charged.

Weird bunch they were - a few seemingly female teenagers & some transwomen in their 20s, those placards were deranged though!

But he has been, he's not allowed to go out and play in the park anymore!

This is from 2018... And it is still such an apt rant today. And we are still dealing with this shite, we have pushed back somewhat, but that it is still apt four years on is a sure sign that the depth of the changes that had been already made by that time.

There's certainly loads of video footage of the assault.

I'm disgusted with the police. They don't seem to have even insisted he apologise.

I too hope she can take it to court.
