I had to smile at that. So much affected disinterest. Such an unimportant topic. That’s the poster who stormed off the feminist thread with the following denunciation for its posters a couple of years ago when we failed to yield to his stunning insights:
“As a radical feminist friend of mine (and former partner) wrote yesterday elsewhere, it's clearly a generational thing. I'm not going to bother you any more on here, at least not on this subject, because it's going nowhere. You're not open to discussion, you're not prepared to seriously consider new ideas. You would rather turn your backs on thousands of young people who are seizing new opportunities to be who they feel most comfortable being, whether they started life with the secondary sexual characteristics of a female or a male, and you point blank refuse to find any room in your hearts for them. Shame on you.”
Another man who doesn’t realise women may have been thinking about these issues for rather longer than he has, and we are quite capable of deciding for ourselves what is important to our lives.
But as you say, must stop referring back. I am a terrible one for scratching a wound.
