I would let the relevant officer flap about with a properly specified complaint. And then I would attend with a solicitor.

I'm also bemused as to why she raised 40K, just to send a legal pre-action letter, and then settle with Nottingham Council. Not sure what happened to the rest of the funds, since no legal action letter should cost that much, even with the undoubtedly stellar cast of lawyers she had lined up to fight her case.

I so agree. We have to keep our eye on the prize. Prioritise common goals, appreciate each other's different strengths. KJK is most definitely a feminist IMO, but I can understand why she doesn't want to be associated with the term - so many women have brought shame on that label over the last 20 years.

Someone needs to tell these Labour feminists that this is a coalition of interests, a grassroots movement, and they are not in charge.

Kathleen Stock (who incidentally has a perfectly civil relationship with Helen Joyce who published her book around the same time and is in a very different place politically) was very comforting on her twitter account - she said this sort of infighting always happens and nobody has to take sides.

Same, so very tired, so I have some lots of whisky, a fair amount of chocolate and the Christmas presents I've bought for people include, gin, mince pies, shortbread, chocolate, toffee vodka and fireball.
