The key word in your list Discovereads is witness.
On every single one of those reports the police use the word witness.
On the report about the masturbating male in a skirt it is not once stated that person is a witness.

That’s a function of my search engine. I put in “witness”
I get links for person as well if you like. But fact is that police release images all the time of people not named as suspects.

That's weird, isn't it? At work if someone is kicking off, they will be well aware that I am filming them because the camera has yellow "video and audio" signs on it, and when activated it lights up red and squeaks every two minutes. Likewise, whenever someone is filming a police officer with their mobile phone, they're usually pretty vocal about the fact that they are filming. Seems silly to do it covertly when covert recordings aren't always admissible as evidence. As the poster above says, "Karen" videos always seem to show faces.

My phone doesn’t light up or squeak when recording. I don’t think it’s wierd. Her phone is probably in a shirt pocket with camera facing out, not in her hand because she washes her hands in the video.

Why don’t you start your own thread instead of detailing this one with your faux innocent “what’s cis?” And “what’s gender” school girl questions.

You’ve not watched the video, said you won’t watch it and are refusing to even discuss the issues in the OP.

Thanks hun, but I was having a conversation with @Thehawki long before you came to the thread.

Can you explain gender then? Most politicians can't.

Discovereads · 30/10/2022 01:41

DdraigGoch · 30/10/2022 01:40

And every time they are pretty explicit that it is witnesses they are seeking.

This time, they said nothing about this person being a witness.

That’s because I input in “witness” in my search engine. I was responding to the claim that it is “rubbish” that police release images of witnesses…they do.

@Discovereads we always have the risk of bad men everywhere, even in our homes, our family, our police force. I don't think the recent changes, when you can be accused just for (usuallyBlush) accurately calling a man, a man, have really served to make women safer.

I'm off to bed, okay maybe one more thread...

No you weren’t.

CrossStichQueen · 30/10/2022 01:43

Discovereads thank you for another list and again because the police haven't used the word witness it's very clear these people are not classed as witnesses same way the masturbating male wasn't. The police have used " in connection with" and person of interest. If the police thought they were witness they would use that word. They didn't. Both your lists prove that.

Also this trope about women attacking masculine looking women in their loos really upholds the sex segregation argument, not the mixed sex one.

If women are so concerned about keeping their toilets single sex that they are looking suspiciously at butch women, that tells you everything you need to know.

I don't know how much clearer we can be. Women don't want men in there. A woman getting confused is completely irrelevant to that.

Seriously, how much clearer can we be.!

But according to discovereads, rapists gonna rape anyway.

Discovereads · 30/10/2022 01:43

No you weren’t.

I'm still waiting on the answer. Funny how no one can give the legal definition. If it can't be explained then the word cis can't be used surely 🤔

But I know you so if you won't answer my questions, bye-bye 🙃

And I bet that each of the people in those links is a suspect. Because they would always specify "witness" when they are looking for a witness lest vigiliantes go around beating up innocent people.

Yeah it's a particularly nasty line that gets trotted out with tedious regularity. You're gonna be raped anyway, so why bother to even attempt safeguarding.

I honestly don't know why people bother to even say it, it's so bloody stupid. Except, I think, some people like saying it.

Bet you’re proud of yourself, mocking the victim of a sexual offence by gaslighting her on who her perpetrator was.

Pixiedust1234 · 30/10/2022 01:49

oh the irony. Who would have thunk...

CrossStichQueen · 30/10/2022 01:50

I thought that was the rules now?

Aren't women supposed to refer to their male abusers as her if the abuser demands it in court?

Nothing your pal Margie wouldn't stoop to. TRAs in their numbers come out to deny, distract from and defend sex offenders. What's the phrase? "Look who you are aligning yourself with".

yea

and that lady who was raped on an nhs ward but was gaslighted by the nhs

having said that…gaslighting a victim even to prove a point is a shitty thing to do

Jarnsaxa · 30/10/2022 01:52

No Discovereads the victim doesn't wash her hands. She stands at the basin for a second but there's no sound of running water and no hands visible, then she turns to face her harasser then leaves There's no hand washing.

That wasn’t my point at all. My point was that womens toilets have never been safe from men. Ever. Which was to correct a poster who implied that womens toilets were safe before transwomen started using them.

MysteryBelle · 30/10/2022 01:54

What is a Cis Woman?

Psychos don’t get to put labels on biological women. I’m so over this garbage.

She’s not my pal. I don’t know her. I just was correcting the nasty libel that was posted about her. I’d do the same for you. For anyone.

Thehawki · 30/10/2022 00:59

I'm honestly just going off what I've been told by friends/ trans people that I know. I appreciate hearing your point of view and your explanation.

Yes. I would say, that for me, it's similar to if a friend told me that she or he had a deep (for them experiential even) belief/relationship with God; and that this was a fundamental to their identity- I would respect their right to hold that personal belief and sense of themself. I would not expect them to ask me, or society as a whole, to subscribe to their belief system or terminology however, or to give up rights to my beliefs and my own sense of identity.

No, her right hand is visible reaching over the sink, and then the older woman pushes in. So the camera goes side on. Then you hear running water.

You've spent half the thread defending the OP. An OP who has a history of disingenuous posts along the lines of "maybe..."
