I did

So you'd be okay walking in to the bathroom and finding those two? You wouldn't feel uncomfortable?

If I knew that people only used the toilets appropriate for their sex and that some men don’t get off pushing women’s boundaries and some men don’t take advantage of the fact that a vocal minority are pushing women to “be kind” and allow men to use “the toilet they feel most comfortable in” then I would know that those people are female, and therefore in the correct toilet.
So the fact that some women are unsure who is using the women’s toilets and are concerned about it is down to men not women

IcakethereforeIam · 30/10/2022 10:57

The woman in the first picture looks like a butch lesbian, the 2nd picture is so badly moodily lit I can't tell.

Which bathroom should these guys use then?

Anyway, in regards to the OP, disgusting behavior. It's not okay, and I find it sad/funny/predicatible that people on here by won't believe it. I know a lot of trans people, as well as very masculine women and have been there when they have recieved tuts and stares. Not that much of a leap.

I've also been the recipient of harassment and abuse when the girls at school found out I was bisexual and believed I was 'staring' at them changing. I'd never want anyone to feel the way i did. Regarding me as a threat despite the fact i was just trying to live my life.

It's also true that TW and TM have been using the bathroom they're most comfortable with for yonks. My actually-genuinely-middle aged family friend is a TW and as a condition of getting a GRC, had to 'live as a woman'. That includes using appropriate bathrooms.

How about we just leave people the hell alone when they're trying to pee? If they stare, make comments, etc then find the appropriate security or phone the police. Harassment has always been illegal and that won't change.

I don't get your argument? Are you arguing that women shouldn't have any single sex spaces and that everywhere should be mixed sex? From toilets and changing rooms to prisons and refuges?

VinoDino · 30/10/2022 10:58

*Now that she's had surgery and been living as a woman for many years, its difficult to tell. Though anyone harassing her for peeing would get short shrift from me!

Anyway could someone tell me which bathroom the chaps I posted above should use?*

But how has she been 'living as a woman'?

VinoDino · 30/10/2022 10:59

Bold fail. That was to @Ladybrrrd

Jaxhog · 30/10/2022 10:59

Many years ago, I was stopped from entering a female loo by a cleaner. It was on a building site and I was dressed in jeans, boots, and a hard hat. (I was a site engineer). When I told her that I WAS Female and took my hat off, she was very apologetic and we had a little giggle about it.

I hate to think what would happen today.

How about we just leave people the hell alone when they're trying to pee?

If it’s really just about trans women peeing and nothing else, what’s stopping them just using the men’s toilets?

Do you routinely ask men to ‘leave people the hell alone’ whilst trying to pee instead of insisting they need to be placed with women?

Of course it's not the men who aren't being asked these questions.

Women once again expected to give up their rights for the benefit of men.

Asdavaluesausage · 30/10/2022 11:00

I’m waiting to know that @VinoDino too. Should we add it to our list? Did we ever get the examples or did that poster suddenly have something better to do/lost signal/ran away?

Mincing around the countryside in their undies and high heels while screaming at insects a la Dylan Mulvaney perhaps?

VinoDino · 30/10/2022 11:03

Don't know about you but I think we could be waiting a verrry long time! @Asdavaluesausage

Asdavaluesausage · 30/10/2022 11:04

I’ll run out and get more pastries @VinoDino coffee run as well

VinoDino · 30/10/2022 11:06

Has any TRA ever even tried to offer up what a woman is? Because to live as one you have to know and describe what one is.

Labour don't appear to know, neither do the Scottish Gov. You'd think they would really get this tiny bit of information sorted before enshrining this in law? It's kinda important.

Does any TRA want to have a bash? @MargaritaPie what say you? @Discovereads any takers?

Ladybrrrd · 30/10/2022 11:07

*Do you know any transmen in real life?

Loads of us have female kids who identify as transmen. They aren’t scary.*

I know 3.
I know how the conversation would go with at least 1.

"Excuse me are you meant to be here?"
"Yes, fuck off."

It just really amazes me how apparently women who would call the police/get super uncomfortable/shout at a transwoman (or indeed natal man) in the bathroom, would suddnely become #bekind and polite if they were to see a trans man using the correctly sexed bathroom.

They aren't very convincing. The one in boxing gear makes me feel sad for their vain attempt. Many of us hope this will fall out of favour soon and women will stop doing this to themselves.

Why does it surprise you? Why would women not be polite to other females using the womens facilities, even if they were presenting in a gender non conforming way.

VinoDino · 30/10/2022 11:12

@Ladybrrrd men (which involves transwomen) pose more risk of harm to women, than women (transmen) pose to men. We cannot tell the goodies from the baddies, just because they have a frock on.

Now, what does living as a women mean?

Ladybrrrd · 30/10/2022 11:12

Wearing styles more typically associated with women, changing her name, asking people to use she/her, wearing a wig, wearing make up. Never heels as she doesn't like them. And not really dresses as she prefers trousers.
Theres the list. Feel free to pick apart

stereotypes then

So, based on backwards outdated stereo types?

A wig makes someone a woman? I don't wear a wig. Does that mean I am not a woman?

Asdavaluesausage · 30/10/2022 11:15

but drag queens do all those things and they’re not women, or even claim to be. So basically according to your friend a woman is someone with a wig, make up and pronouns. Nice. So if a woman doesn’t wear make up, has short hair and wears mens tee shirts for example, are they not a woman?

Ladybrrrd · 30/10/2022 11:15

Because I'm talking about and posting pictures of trans men who really really look like men!

Do they? I thought one was a butch lesbian and the other just looks like a female with facial hair.

ReunitedThorns · 30/10/2022 11:17

In other news Ukraine has carried out a terrorist attack in Donesk, therefore Russia will have to use worse military strikes in their special military operation.

Essentially false flag attacks to justify another action. (Of course I don't believe in the above statement, but use it as an example of false flag attacks).

It is an attempt to frame the trans rights argument as being a positive for women's rights, and making it seem that women lose out without trans rights.

CrossStichQueen · 30/10/2022 11:17

Theres the list. Feel free to pick apart

That's the point. It is easy to pick apart because none of those things make anyone a women.

It is not possible for anyone to feel being something they aren't.
You can't feel like a cat because you are not one you are human.

You can't feel like a woman if you are male as women are female. Yet we are meant to ignore reality in favour of fantasy. Why?
