To feel incredibly sorry for Eddie Izzard

I don't want to pity Eddie but I felt a wave of sadness after reading that Rosie Duffield (MP) said she would rather be arrested than refer to Eddie as a woman.

Eddie is biologically male and this is unchangeable fact. A person might, as a nicety, say 'she', to avoid hurting feelings, but no one should be compelled to. Language matters and 'she' is the pronoun that denotes female.
Eddie most definitely should not be given access to all female shortlists.
That said, I totally support Eddie's right to wear whatever is preferable etc, and not be criticised or made to feel uncomfortable because of appearance.

You might be daft enough to consider Izzard ‘stunning and brave’. Most of us aren’t.

Be careful about playing along with untruths and pretending to believe them. It harms your brain.
