Yes but you have to come out from the cubicle and walk out don't you, if there is a transgender woman there who is physically male it is a fact that male offending rates do not go down if a man transitions.
That's why safeguarding was put there originally wasn't it in prisons, toilets and changing rooms, because it would attract sexual predatory behavior from men.

Before anyone jumps down my throat, I agree with the majority here. I don't believe transsexuals, transgender people, transitioning people, non-biny, biological males should be allowed in what were once female only spaces - including loos, changing rooms or sports.

I also believe that anyone can dress how they want, use whatever pronouns they want and live their lives however they want as long as they are not harming anyone else. II think the people who want to exploit these places/situations for their own sexual gratification are in the minority. We can't make sweeping generalisations that all transgender people are sexual predators. But i accept that such people are out there.

BUT, what is the answer here? Do all organisations now have to provide a third option for where they may pee, change, compete? * *let's concentrate on the loo situation for now. If they continued using male public toilets, are they not also open to being abused, humiliated and exploited by the 'macho' men they will encounter?

It's OK for everyone to be outraged and voice their objection to such situations but I've not read anywhere what people think the solution is. This is going yo be an ongoing and growing situation so what are our options?

The solution is not to take over women's spaces. If using men's toilets is a problem for men, they should campaign for a third space, not colonise women's designated spaces. Why are we always the ones to compromise, because men's feelings?

Male violence and intimidation is not women's problem to solve! They are exactly the reasons why women don't want men in our toilets, but apparently we're supposed to move over and make space or we're the ones being mean. Unbelievable.

Alex and Eddie have lots in common. They both have typically-male (borderline unisex) names, use she/her pronouns and wear skirts and make up.

Both are male, and therefore cannot actually ‘widen the bandwidth of woman’, they can only ‘widen the bandwidth of man’.

if they could both stop with the colonising ladies loos and calling themselves woman/female/she etc, we might still give them the side eye (because of creepy red flags) but we wouldn’t need to discuss them.

No one has ever made that claim. Activists like to misrepresent our concerns by presenting it that way but its a lie.

Eddie used to be a man in a dress and make up, the only thing that has changed is how Eddie identifies. How do you tell the difference between a sexual predator in a dress and make up and a transwoman when the only thing it takes to make someone a transwoman is their say so?

If women had the answer to male violence then there would be far fewer women murdered, raped and assaulted. When did solving men's problems also become our job? Many people have proposed the third option but trans activist won't accept that as a solution. You have to ask yourself why they would reject third spaces if their priority is safety? It's because safety is not the priority, women are tools used to validate TW gender identity.

They'd have to have 4, men women, disabled and anyone else that isnt any of the above. This should go for toilet facilities, changing rooms and sports categories. It's the only way forward.

I don't want men in women's spaces, taking women's trophies or anything else. You can wear a dress and put makeup on if it makes you feel pretty I don't care, but I don't want a man in a dress in women's only spaces or taking a woman's place whether its Eddie Izzard or anyone else.

I don't know why Labour have anything to do with Izzard, he drives away far more voters than he gains. He was damaging to the remain campaign too. People just think he's weird.

I'm agreeing with everything everyone was saying. All I was saying is I'm reading a lot of anger or outrage on the subject but no-one suggesting what the solution might be so I suggested a possible solution. One you apparently agree with but you're so much up your own arse that you are obviously just angry at everyone!
