Eddie Izzard is transgender. She uses female pronouns, and I would have no problem using the loo whilst she or any other transgender woman was in there. I usually lock the cubicle door!

Trans people are literally proof that sex and gender are different things. The weird coincidence that trans identifying people chose the names of the sexes to label their feelings of inner gender does not mean they actually are the opposite sex!

We don’t all lock the door- when my daughter was little and fast asleep in her buggy I would often risk leaving the door open so the buggy was visible/within reach rather than lock myself in a cubicle away from my sleeping child.

I actually think that this is the press taking the piss without it being too obviously. The Mail have run a series of articles about Izzard's outfits and there's no way that they are being serious.
