Sussex Police claim gc views are 'hate' when women call a paedophile a man

Extraordinary exchange on Twitter.

'This is a man, committing sexual offences against children'

'Hi, Sussex Police do not tolerate any hateful comments towards their gender identity regardless of crimes committed. This is irrelevant to the crime that has been committed and investigated. Sussex Police'

'Sussex Police, I am exercising my gender critical views, which are protected in law. Can you advise whether making such statements is a crime?'

'Hi, you can familiarise yourself with what is regarding as hate on our website here: orlo.uk/k3sOL. If you have gender critical views you wish to express this can be done on other platforms or your own page, not targeted at an individual. Sussex Police'

Don’t know what to say, but 😱

TheClogLady · 27/09/2022 14:55

How can it be irrelevant when the CRIMES WERE COMMITTED WITH A PENIS?

woke fuckery overload moment.

And the criminal in question does not have a GRC and so is legally male. Ridiculous and chilling that the police spend their time on social media defending peadophile criminals from statements of fact.

Willowswave · 27/09/2022 14:57

Gonna put my hand up here 🙋‍♀️ and say I do hate paedophiles.

It is ok to hate paedophiles.

Soubriquet · 27/09/2022 14:57

They may be monitoring twitter but they aren’t on fb

There are people calling him a man on there and it’s standing

ReunitedThorns · 27/09/2022 14:59

The police have completely fallen for the lies of a convicted paedophile.

ArabellaScott · 27/09/2022 15:03

The police are duty bound to protect the public, and that includes criminals. Fine. I understand that.

What I can't understand is why they are making such a specific and special effort to attack women, and accuse women of 'hate', when women call a paedophile a man. Which he is.

Whatever his 'gender identity', this is a man. Who abused children. I will not call this man a woman. It's not hate to say this man is a man. It's simple fact. I'm not saying anything hateful, I'm not wishing him ill. I'm just saying he's a man, and should be in a man's prison.

I will not wheesht and be quiet, I will not accept that it's 'hate' to call this man a man.

How is the statement "this is a man" hate? Is it not just stating the obvious?

ArabellaScott · 27/09/2022 15:04

That's the burning question, Plasmodesmata.

Lots of feminists like Julie Bindel, Frances Barber, Anya Palmer and probably more have come out publicly to say that is a man. Julie Bindel directly in a comment to that tweet.

let’s see if the police goes after them or not. It’s time for them to either act or stop threatening women and cowering them into silence.

If they act, I see that as the beginning of the end, mass peaking the uk and the world, it will make great television to see women dragged off to prisons for saying a convicted male pedophile and rapist is a man.

he doesn’t even have a GRC! So the police is coddling pedos with no legal standing.

even with a grc, he’s still a man. The grc was not created to affirm men as women, to record male crimes as female, etc, it was just for purposes of protecting against discrimination by employers etc for a “small” number of people.

this grc and enabling falsehood in law needs to be tackled next. We don’t need to affirm lies to protect people from unlawful discrimination.

Helleofabore · 27/09/2022 15:07

So, will all those replying to the tweets be visited for being 'untoward towards paedophiles'?

MrsTerryPratchett · 27/09/2022 15:08

This is irrelevant to the crime that has been committed and investigated.

I'm trying to think of a behaviour more skewed by sex than sex-offending. Peeing standing up? Shaving your back? I can't think of one. It's probably the most male-specific behaviour there has ever been.

CristinaNov182 · 27/09/2022 15:10

@MrsTerryPratchett speaking the truth is “irrelevant”. Orwellian.

whatever the crime he committed, he’s a man. Women are not saying he’s a man because he raped children but because he is indeed a man.

TheMarzipanDildo · 27/09/2022 15:12

They don’t get what we’re trying to say at all. It’s not ‘irrelevant’ to point out that this person is male, it is absolutely fucking imperative.

ArabellaScott · 27/09/2022 15:16

Yes, some men just don't seem to get it. Here's one tweet:

'Do you have any idea of the seriousness of transitioning and what sacrifices you have to make.'

Yes. Yes, I do.

  1. Not. and 2. None.

ArabellaScott · 27/09/2022 15:17

It is relevant because this man is going to be sent to a woman's prison, ffs!

zen1 · 27/09/2022 15:17

Fucking hell. Sussex Police sound like a lost cause. How dare they get away with spouting this shit.

OhMerde · 27/09/2022 15:18

I can't think of anything meaningful to say other than the world has gone fucking mad.

Whatwouldscullydo · 27/09/2022 15:19

Things like this will stop victims coming forward. Victims of abuse need to know they can tell their truth as it actually happened without being told they have to pretend they believe their abuser was a woman when it wasn't. And they sure as hell won't want to have to live with the fact that them coming forward now places other women in danger.

This is nothing but enabling men and males to hide their own crimes and be served up an all you can eat buffet in the prison of their choosing.

Who are you helping police? Because it sure isn't the victims of horrific abuse and sexual assault.

Justasmallgless · 27/09/2022 15:19

I can just imagine the waves this is causing! I'm at work and DH has sent me a link to this on Twitter with a suitable emoji.

The comms dept are blithely tapping away whilst the investigators have their head in their hands despairing that all their hard work in getting him in prison and the pain of the victims in giving evidence is in ruins due to their ideology

ArabellaScott · 27/09/2022 15:20

Yes, Scully. This is the police acting aggressively towards survivors, and showing the victims of this man the most utter contempt.

Who is their police commissioner and do they agree with them or the twitter heathens?

This.

plus the humiliation and further abuse of the victims who have to sit there and hear how this was committed by a “woman”.
