What's with the new use of transitioning sex rather than gender? I thought gender and sex weren't the same? I could almost understand a man transitioning to being a woman (I mean not really but almost) but how does a male transition to being female? It's not possible

And the secretive groups in the Ministry of Justice have decided that this poor defenceless predator should be placed in a women's prison with a mother and baby unit in it.
