This thread, or rather what Josh is doing, is very important. (Even if the site is not easy browsing.) He joins quite a corps of unlikely heroes who have gone above and beyond: JKR, Glinner, Maya etc.

It also gives a hint of what MN have gone through. Complaints, attacks, advertisers targeted. So many techie types are folding, the instant issues are raised. Bravo to both. (I am imagining Josh and Justine meeting for a G+T or Kambutcha and sharing experiences and technical solutions.)

Someone on the KF mumsnet thread did suggest a mixer between the two sites lol. 😂😂😂

How do you identify as a woman @marg? Is it like a lanyard you get to wear? I always think those who say they ‘identify as’ something are signalling very clearly that they are not actually that thing. Women don’t identify as women, they just are. And by women, I mean the real kind, not the male kind

It's appreciated that you're willing to share your sex with the group as I'm sure more than a few suspected you're male. But unfortunately because some people use "woman" purely as a social identity rather than a biological descriptor it's not quite the clarification you probably think it is. To be clear, as you're being open about this, by saying you are a woman you mean an adult female. XX chromosomes, born with a vagina not a penis? Sorry to have to be so explicit but the term woman has been used to describe otherwise by some.
