However it is good to see they have managed to find a new home on a soviet server
For technical clarity, the server hasn't moved - all names for the site ultimately go one server, which is why it was vulnerable to the last round of attacks. Null's plan is to distribute the servers around a bit to make it infeasibly expensive to simultaneously pay criminals to attack all simultaneously, (plus possibly make them easier to identify, if anyone would care to do any real law enforcement here?)
But it's been reconfigured so that when accessed via the Russian name, the server doesn't ask CloudFlare to "please pre-screen this access", but uses alternative DDOS protection. CloudFlare is not that fundamental to operation - they're just a hired "doorman".
Because there are so many attacks, basically Null's got it set up that he can easily switch "modes" for different names to the site, as countermeasures. Can sidestep a few attacks. Not as good as actually having multiple physical servers.
(The ru choice was possibly just chosen to wind up people who get wound up by that sort of thing. Not sure if there's a fundamental reason.)
Again, it was only one comment and I believe it was deleted quickly, but not quickly enough. This is common
From what I gather it was a comment up for 15 minutes from a user who had been inactive for 2 years, taken down immediately after Keffals got the screenshot. (No-one seems to know whether the poster or a mod took it down.)
A pattern very commonly used by the same groups on Mumsnet, so desperate are they to record "transphobia" here.
This is quite scary, isn't it? Watching a mob in full flow, being basically cheered on by the media and corporations, and no-one even attempting to stop them, or ask any questions...
