Complaints against Baroness Nicholson being organised

An official compliant has been lodged with the @Conservatives Party in regard to @Baroness_Nichol’s online behaviour.

It comes after dozens of complaints were lodged with social media companies regarding her views on #trans.

The Conservative Party has been contacted for comment

I do wonder if surgeons are honest about what is achievable with these operations and if they’re giving patients unrealistic expectations of what a ‘good outcome’ means. Given how the medical profession has mistreated and lied to women over the use of vaginal mesh and industrial silicon in breast implants I can’t imagine that they’re any more reliable when it comes to ‘bottom surgery.’

They protested against her because she said lesbian families were "neither normal nor natural" and said "every child deserves a mother and father".

If you don't think lesbians can raise children together you're homophobe and misogynist like she is.

I'm no TRA, but Emma Nicholson is, and always has been utterly objectionable, so if people are finally calling her out for her longstanding homophobia, bigotry, and dark-ages views, then all power to them. The last thing the UK needs is yet more dinosaurs in a totally unelected upper house subjecting us to their ignorance.

I've listened to the Baroness. She is formidable she totally gets the harm that gender ideology is doing to women and girls. Her reach is far beyond the UK. Transactivists and their allies need all voices that put doubt on their ideology to be terminated. They are so boringly predictable but I have to say their own goals are great for women and girls. They bring such sunlight to the world when they do their witch hunting.

It's nothing to do with "silencing" a "Tory Baroness" (so? Even if they are a Tory Baroness, what then you can't ever be disagreed with, can't ever be deplatformed if you were ever to tip a bit too far?
I'm not going to blindly agree with everyone just because they're in a position of power which is how your comment comes across.

She's a foul, homophobic person, and a very good reason NOT to vote conservative, however much you (and I) might agree with this one opinion that she has.

I've been wondering where the obvious panic would manifest as soon as the dial shifted in anything remotely positive for women as a result of women refusing to STFU.

Targeting an 80 yr old woman didn't seem the obvious sign of losing it, but this seems to be the chosen route for those in a tail spin.

I'm sure the Baroness has the gumption to cope - I've been so very impressed with her stamina & general upbeat & unfailing politeness.

There's posters very much personally invested in discrediting Baroness Nicholson in something she said or did 20 years ago. There's stuff I did and said 20 years ago that I now feel like a twat about. Seems how life appears to work. You get older, more experienced - you learn.

Can you grasp the idea that people can move on from what they believed 20 years ago? I certainly have. For example, 20 years ago, I thought that women had approximate equality, it was OK, and that men had our best interests at heart. Oh, how I laugh, these days! (Bitterly.)

Ok, let me clarify this for you -

I am no trans right activist, mainly because I have no interest in trans rights, have never taken part in any organised activity intended to promote or further them, and that being the case it, would be pretty ridiculous for me to either claim to be a TRA or fail to refute an allegation of being one.

To be honest, I'm not sure why it's relevant in any case, because my TRA credentials, or lack of them, have no bearing on the fact that Emma Nicholson is a repulsive homophobe.
