Genuinely scared now that she might win - looks like she's second behind Rishi Sunak in nominations, and the most popular with Tory membership.

If gender self-ID is passed in law, it's going to be so difficult to repeal. (I don't trust her not to try, despite what she said on Twitter recently).

So also scared now that if she wins, the UK will go the same way re. gender policy as the US, Canada etc. and the UK as a beacon of reason in the world on this issue will be snuffed out forever. (Sounds hyperbolic but think it's near the mark).

How can we campaign to stop this? I've already emailed an appeal to the nearest Tory MP to me about this, but otherwise feel powerless.

The NHS doesn't have the money to waste on something as ridiculous as homeopathy. I spent years running clinical trials and working with herbalists and aromatherapists. Therapeutic massage and herbal medicine are both effective as complementary therapies and it really annoys me when people conflate these with homeopathy, for which there is no evidence of effectiveness at all, other than placebo and the psychological benefit of having someone to talk to and listen to you.
Just another lie being peddled.

I think it's because they are often offered together by the same people. The patient doesn't realize it's not the same thing at all.

Yes. I remember looking for urgent physio following an injury. I found a clinic that offered several services (these places often rent out rooms). The physio was not available that day and the person answering the phone offered me "cupping" as an alternative. I politely declined and said I would wait to speak to the physio. Bonkers.

thank goodness...

I have never been that political, but having followed this issue for the last five years or so, I really really did not want Mordaunt.
