Is party stance on gender woo a deal breaker for you? I am/have been a center left type my whole life, would never previously have even considered voting tory-but I cannot vote for parties that spout manifest bollocks. How about you? Or you friends?

Low-temperature heat pumps are very efficient to run as long as they're not trying to heat a sieve. You've got to insulate and take draught-proofing measures and have double glazing and do all the basic, sensible things that we should all have been sorting out over the last 10 years. So thank you, Anti. I was sitting on the fence and feeling bad and now I feel freed of all guilt on the matter.

It is sometimes presented as a 'single issue' but is actually part of almost everything else we vote about.

I am now considering voting Tory because safety for women - rights for women- must be protected. This is the base for everything else.

I'm finding that difficult - I need to change my own identity from red to blue!.

Because at least I know what I'm likely to get from the Tories.

Anyway, I don’t care that much about toilets (I’d use the men’s under certain circumstances myself). We still need the basic social convention of single sex bathrooms. The important things for me, though, are around prisons, refuges, intimate care, sports, changing spaces, hospitals etc.

It doesn't matter if not everyone cares.

As long as some people care then nobody has the right to consent on their behalf.

Don't reduce the 'just one issue' even further and suggest it is just a toilet obsession.

Neither would be enough to mobilise the gender-critical army that is already on here and is beginning to appear live too.

But those who are using their obsession with trans people to make all kinds of spaces more dangerous for women.

I'm not going to tell women who they should vote for. Personally I am disabled, have seen the impact of austerity on disabled friends and family, and am worried about the cost of living so I wouldn't vote Tory pretty much ever. I'm also not convinced that the Tories are any less into identity politics than Labour when it gets down to actual governance (see Andrew Bowie MP claiming he was proud to be a Conservative because, among other things, they had the first trans MP!)

I will not vote Labour as I have said many times. I have never voted Labour. I probably will never vote Labour.

Who put Self ID on the table? The Tories. Whose what did this trans shitshow happen on? The Tories. How many male bodied folk were in women's single sex spaces before the Tories took power? How many of them are there now?
