If you read the panel notice, there are ‘similar’ cases cited including a nurse illegally writing prescriptions who received a reprimand and $500 fine and a lawyer who threatened a SW with shooting her received a two week ban and $8000 in costs. Both actions obviously deemed to be less ‘wrong’ than Amy’s concerns for women’s rights.
Plus, the nursing college’s expert witnesses do a nice line in offering their services. Dr Greta Bauer was paid $66,000 for her one report. There were two more expert reports with these three reports being one reason Amy’s costs were so astronomical.
This is Greta being interviewed: This has allowed me to see the direct impact of my work on, for example, funding for gender-affirming surgeries, explicit human rights protections for gender identity and expression, changes in data collection through Statistics Canada, and requirements for physicians to provide effective referrals where physician beliefs prevent provision of care.
Transgenderism is firmly firmly rooted in the medical world in North America.
What’s interesting is that friends in the US and in Canada both claimed there was nothing about GI in their countries ie cases of young people having surgery or TW in women’s spaces just don’t get mentioned in liberal media (they wouldn’t be listening to conservative news).
It is incredible to me, still, how the idea that people can be ‘born in the wrong body’ and that having life altering surgery with side effects of infertility is just so acceptable to those in the healthcare field.
