Is it the song?

PaddleBoardingMomma · 29/06/2022 16:59

It's the song 🤣

I'm now thinking this has been shared many times before and I've just missed it! Apologies if that is the case, couldn't believe what I was hearing 🤮

So male person tells lesbians that if they don't want to have sex with him then they are bigots. Coercive rape culture at its most blatant.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 29/06/2022 17:00

The condescending expressions just make it, don’t they?! I think this should go in the TERF Museum one day.

FlowerBitLove · 29/06/2022 17:03

I’m ‘cis’ shudders at word and I can honestly say that when I’ve refused to date trans folk it’s had fuck all to do with their sex organs and is related entirely to their personality and the vaguely threatening attitude of entitlement they have had.

Maybe someone should sing a song about just being decent human beings regardless of how you want to present gender wise.

FlibbertyGiblets · 29/06/2022 17:05

Women saying no to men really makes some folx angry, doesn't it.

achillestoes · 29/06/2022 17:07

I wouldn’t date someone with a female body (I’m straight). I also wouldn’t date a very feminine-presenting male (I’m into masculine males). Some people would say that makes me transphobic but nah. I don’t mind trans people. I’m only attracted to a tiny subset of humans and that’s that.

PleasantBirthday · 29/06/2022 17:07

Oh dear. I think I'll just have to accept my new label, so. Sorry.

Glitterspy · 29/06/2022 17:07

I don’t understand this. Surely you only date who you want to date and if you don’t want to date someone that’s fine otherwise it’s coercion? That’s what I’m teaching my son and daughter anyway, regardless of gender. Soooo if a trans person wants to date me I have to date them even if I don’t like them, otherwise I’m a trans phobe?

This person is mad.

FatFilledTrottyPuss · 29/06/2022 17:08

In response to his video/ridiculous song;
Yes I am, What of it?
Honestly the words transphobe and transphobic have lost all meaning at this point, bit like how the word woman has lost all meaning it it’s meant to include men or anyone who says they’re a woman 🙄

334bu · 29/06/2022 17:09

This person is a homophobe!

A fine show of male privilege and arrogance on display there. That person really is a massive example of what they haven't got, but badly covet cunt

BreadInCaptivity · 29/06/2022 17:19

I'm right back at him with the I'm "super straight" argument - don't be a bigot about my sexual identity.

The whole thing is creepy.

You can refuse to date anyone for any reason.

Braggiography · 29/06/2022 17:21

I'm getting vibes:

nepeta · 29/06/2022 17:22

Do trans women date other trans women? In other words, what percentage of trans women might qualify as transphobes on the basis of the definition in that post?

It's always interesting to see which groups make sexual demands and which groups they are aimed at.

queenmabb · 29/06/2022 17:23

How do they even know it's happening when there's no way to tell if someone is trans just by looking at them?

How do they know the people rejecting them are cis lesbians? Surely once they've been rejected by them there's not a debrief about their gender?

Or do they know what a woman is and recognise them on sight?

It's deffo one or the other.

Yes, in a very thick glass cabinet. We can bury the key.

GingerCake2018 · 29/06/2022 17:25

My female straight friend and I, also female and straight (sorry can't bring myself to use the 3 letter c word to describe us) were talking about the concept of dating transmen (along with many other gender critical issues) yesterday, and she made an interesting point, that she would never be attracted to someone who was clearly uncomfortable in their own body, which rules out dating trans people just on that alone.

donquixotedelamancha · 29/06/2022 17:26

I wouldn’t date someone with a female body (I’m straight). I also wouldn’t date a very feminine-presenting male (I’m into masculine males).

That's OK, there are some very masculine Transwomen 'expanding the bandwidth of womanhood' as Stonewall like to put it.

Conflictedunicorn · 29/06/2022 17:26

To be fair, being called a TERF or a transphobe means nothing now. They’re just words for someone who understands biology and won’t bow down to the traliban.

user1471517095 · 29/06/2022 17:27

Surely you can refuse to date who you want? Or how we now getting told whom we should be fancying?

Darktimes35 · 29/06/2022 17:29

People are free to date who they please. I assume that the person in the video is happy to date a transwoman?!

Maybe they’re like Owen Jones and transmen are men apart from relationship purposes.

donquixotedelamancha · 29/06/2022 17:34

In a tinkley voice:

It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again.
Cis lesbians I'm talking to you.
