If you're cis and you won't date trans folk, you're a transphobe!

I can only apologise to your ears.

This sentiment is exactly why I cannot wholeheartedly support their "cause".

"I'm allowed to change sex and be who I want to be, attracted to who I want to be, sexual in ways I want to be, but if you are cis your preferences are invalid if you are a straight female/male and aren't attracted to the opposide trans sex".

Fuck off.

ChagSameachDoreen · 29/06/2022 20:02

I'm bisexual and have dated men and women.

I wouldn't date a trans person.

If that makes me a massive bigoty TERF, hey ho!

bellinisurge · 29/06/2022 20:02

Seen this cock before. No, dear, I won't shag you. Get back to your basement.

7catsisnotenough · 29/06/2022 20:09

Surely we're all entitled to be attracted to whoever we're attracted to? My personal preference has always been dark haired men?! Blonde men just don't rock my boat, sorry!

Faffertea · 29/06/2022 20:18

I feel like this video needs to be in the middle of a Venn diagram where the circles of ‘TRA’ and ‘Incels’ overlap.

Nobody should feel coerced into a sexual relationship. This person is a homophobic male who thinks that lesbians have no right to any boundaries. Smacks of those men who think corrective rape will sort those uppity lesbians out.

HatefulHaberdashery · 29/06/2022 20:27

I'm straight and I wouldn't date a trans person for 3 reasons:

I'm not attracted to feminised males.
I can only imagine it will be quite the headfuck dating someone that narcissistic and self absorbed to be so focused on what they look like physically.
I don't want to date a liar.

MrsTerryPratchett · 29/06/2022 20:31

I don't get the phobic part. The list of protected characteristics I won't shag is looooong.

Gay people. Because I'm straight and theoretically could shag a gay man but he would want to do no gay people. So I'm homophobic?

Women. See above. So I'm sexist.

Tories. So I will discriminate on the grounds of political affiliation.

Age. Under 40 and over 60 so I'm ageist.

Religious people. Hard no. So I'm prejudiced against religion.

I'm a veritable phobic mess based on that. Fortunately my vagina isn't subject to equalities legislation.

334bu · 29/06/2022 20:34

I'm straight and I wouldn't date a trans person for 3 reasons:...

A transwoman wouldn't be interested in dating you as you are a straight woman and would be attracted to them as a man. This is why they so desperately want to date lesbians as it validates them as women.

Braggiography · 29/06/2022 20:40

It's not okay to coerce or guilt or shame or threaten or cajole or pressurise women into sex.

If that makes me creepphobic, fine.

I am almost 57. I grew up in the 70s and I had a Saturday job as a waitress in a hotel at 17 ( 1979ish). The male chef ( my employer and at least 40) and the sous chef used to take raw chicken skin and put it over whisk handles. They would stick the handles out of their open flies and rub up against us everytime we went in the kitchen, as if those were their cocks. Male diners used to make crude jokes and put their arms around your waist / bottom as you served them, even when dining with their wives and children. Men would whistle and yell as you walked down the street. They would openly talk to your breasts rather than your face.It was endemic. We put up with it as part of life. If you complained or raised your voice you were ugly, a lesbian or bitter because you weren't getting any. It seemed like things were getting better a few years ago. There was an acknowledgement that upskirting was vile, that looking at the breasts of a female colleague was vile, that you don't touch anyone without asking if that's okay. My adult sons treat women with so much more respect than I experienced from men as a young woman. I feel so sad now. We had all those years of many biological men, who identified entirely as men, treating us like meat, like second class citizens. Now we have men deciding that they are actually women, but they are going to attack us too. Even whilst expecting us to welcome them into our spaces and to subscribe to the utter bullshit that are biological women too. They've added cis to our title of woman. I bloody hate that. And now they are telling us who we must sleep with. Lesbians were abused and mocked and vilified by men because they didn't want to have sex with those men "Ooo if she had one night with me she wouldn't be a lesbian anymore". They didn't want to have sex with you when you were a man with a penis. You are still a man with a penis. The addition of 'woman costume' doesn't remove the penis from your carefully tucked genital area. Just fuck off to the other side if fuck

caringcarer · 29/06/2022 21:05

Utter madness.

ninetynineAu · 29/06/2022 21:08

Oh that's Dr Michael Ann, (Idk if Ann is a surname or middle name), who lectures gender stuff at some American college. As in, Michael's employed to do so. (Not just random, unsolicited lecturing at people as Michael does voluntarily through 'song' ).

The whole thing is obnoxious but wtf is this about? Lyrics:

"But transphobia's transphobia and you won't get a pass when we're through,
We're human beings not sex organs, c~s [actual] lesbians, I'm talking to you!"

Excuse me???
"Though"... doing what? What exactly are you threatening here, Michael?
And why specifically target lesbians?•

•We know why.

Jesus, don’t give them ideas …! 😂

How many trans women have you actually met?

Palmfrond · 29/06/2022 21:47

I’m a cis lesbian and I’d love to date this cutie! And unless she is a MONSTER she would love to date me too!

okay okay, BIGOTS would label me a cis-presenting lesbian trans woman who happens to be 6’4” and 230lbs of brawn, bone and flab, with a face like a boiled gammon, but times are hard and trans women are women, so get a few martinis in me and I’m dtf.

Women saying no to men really makes some folx angry, doesn't it.

Yes, it’s quite extraordinary.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 29/06/2022 21:51

Wow. I remember when Weird Al Yankovic was funny

And now I know who you're talking about with this video Grin

Conflictedunicorn · 29/06/2022 21:55

FrancescaContini · 29/06/2022 21:49

Yes, it’s quite extraordinary.

Would those folx be of the XY persuasion?

ohfook · 29/06/2022 21:59

I love that. I've seen lots of ways creepy men have tried to coerce women into fucking them but never via the medium of a really shit song.

Ten out of ten for creativity plus an extra one because I liked that they even got the word microbes into it. Honestly I think the more people that see this the better!

SpinningTheSeedsOfLove · 29/06/2022 22:07

@AngelinaFibres I'm a couple of years older than you and yes, that really resonates. A lot.

It's mad isn't it. There were good things happening and now it's all going to shit. I can't imagine how weird and awful it must often be to be out in the world of dating and sex with new people. It always had the potential to be awkward and clumsy and stressful but there are whole new layers of crap for people to navigate now

AllyCatTown · 29/06/2022 22:20

It’s so pathetic. I’m in my mid 30s and have no interest in younger men but imagine if I got turned down by some 20 something men and then started calling them ageist for not wanting to go out with older women. It’s so unattractive and what are you achieving? Trying to coerce or guilt someone like this is bad.
