Excellent news. This is now something you can add to the letters to HTs and governors when teachers either teach contested ideas as fact, try to suppress your child’s free speech or try to discriminate against them on the basis of sex.

And it's about time. Now they - and all the taxpayer funded services - need to depoliticise their staff and align their policies with the law.

The comment about free speech is interesting. They could have just used the value for money issue as a reason for leaving but have chosen to go further.

No organisation that is anti freedom of speech and democratic process should receive the benefits of public finance.

University minister has written to universities today tell them to think very carefully about signing up to equality charter marks/ free speech concerns...though she references the Race Equality Charter. Looks like bonfire of the charter marks.

Great news! Hopefully the tide is turning. I’ve seen a number of children going down the trans route, it’s been alarming. The oldest has decided she is no longer a man and now identifies as non-binary. Thank goodness she wasn’t given hormone blockers. It has to stop being advertised to children in schools that they might be if the opposite gender.
