Thank you for the thread and keeping those of us who can't watch live up to date!

This judge does seem to use Twitter for a change. A quick look at his tweets makes me think he probably isn't gc, but hopefully far too professional to let his own views on the subject (if he indeed does have any strong views on this at all) cloud his judgement in any way.

I didn't catch what EJB said about ejecting a participant...

The core bundle has not been available and RMW will discuss with other solicitors this evening about making it available. She also referenced AB's Tribunal and said maybe they could do the same with this hearings bundle.

Oh wow, interesting find Gabcsika, how embarassing! This reminds me of my DH's line manager (salary > €200.000) who regularly likes and even comments on extremely cringeworthy pictures posted by OnlyFans accounts on Twitter for everyone to see. 😬

As you said most of what he posts is fairly mundane, but the use of LGBTQ+ and tweets like the one attached (although it's hard to say without more context) make me think he might be more on the Stonewall side of the debate. Not suggesting he's unprofessional enough to let that (conciously) influence his handling of the case, obviously.

Gabcsika Employment Judges use MN too... it's no longer there.

I'm fairly surprised it was there in the first place. The checks for judicial appointment are pretty thorough and it's never a good idea to have your political views or indications as to your intimate personal life on social media when you're in this role.

Literally couldn't give two Fs about his orientation, and use of this kind of ahem material is quite common in the male population, but it did make me gasp slightly. And then chuckle!

Let's face it. Judges are also people, and also, there have been, and are worse things. I'm sure he is more than professional.

I expect the ET staff are quite surprised at the interest this is getting given that it is only a preliminary hearing and given the particular points that are being determined. There will be a different tribunal judge for the main hearing.

The bundles are not being prepared and made available by the same people as in the AB case, are they? Hope there aren't the same cock-ups. You'd think something would have been learned. Also, they should really be able to mute people.

I think AR has the patience of the saint - although I'm fairly sure I saw her give a tiny sigh when RMW insisted on the private discussions on the bundle

I only caught the tail end of EJB's comment, so I'm confuzzled, too.

I was in a Tribunal yesterday. At the start of the hearing one of the barristers was forced to (1) admit he produced the bundle; (2) apologise for the state of it; and (3) refer to it's unhelpfulness as he tried to guide the Tribunal through a document that had seemingly had it's pages radomized before putting in the bundle. In my very limited experience badly put together bundles are the norm, but when the bundle you've produced goes beyond the normal "a bit crap" and into "what the hell is this" territory you really do get the Tribunal's backs up.

I would like to have been a fly on the wall to that dressing down!

RWM has a right cheek asking someone else to make their bundle easier to use!
