I read this thread last night then, this morning, accidentally spotted some dark chocolate tea cakes. So I bought two packets.

I don't know how many ways it's going to take to say it, but it's not the presence of short hair on the other side of the door that constitutes a safety issue or dignity issue for women when they are partially undressed to go to the toilet.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's a case of how many times or ways to say it - it's simply that India doesn't want to see reality because it doesn't suit what India wants.

India wants to believe that dressing like a woman somehow magically makes India a woman, therefore anything that contradicts that want must be attacked, disregarded, hateful etc.

Only just found this thread. Been on holiday and not really connected to the real world. It was actually my 75 year old Mum who sent me a gleeful text to alert me to this glorious meeting of minds 😆

It's quite incredible the outcry this lunch has provoked. Forget Downing Street parties, ladies having lunch and laughs is literal violence.

I see that the latest ‘flex’ is the cost of the meal, over £100 per head has been quoted. Perhaps McDonald’s and a Nokia 3310 would have been more acceptable

What would it be like.
I reckon there would be a full on pronoun scrap ten minutes in, then Grace Lavery would be asked to kick off proceedings, then when Grace has finished 4.5 hours later everyone goes home. The end.

I don’t think there’d be a venue big enough to fit in all their egos to be honest.

Fox and Owl might deign to put in an appearance, and then there's Freddy McConnell. There's also Aitch, that delightful young transman from the London demo the other day who identifies as a gay man because of being sexually attracted to males, female and trans. I feel the more gay men see Aitch and consider these claims, the better.
