Jennifer Swayne has been arrested on charges of vandalism, ‘hate crimes’ and public order offences. Police searched her house and removed several sheets of stickers.

I'm horrified by what has happened here in Wales by Gwent Police.

And I've followed this on various social media platforms.

Enough is enough, this can't continue.

I hope to learn and read more and more from you wonderful women, and whilst right now only here under anonymity can I talk right now due to my career, I'm hoping I can learn and grow.

I think I've been shocked by where we have reached with this. It doesn't seem inclusive and equal to me. Males in female sports, males entering female only spaces.

It's like we as women are on the loosing end, it's take take take, push the women over on their bench, tell them to be quiet, threaten them with rape and violence, harass the women in to forced acceptance. Get the women arrested for "wrong thinking"

I'm fed up of my experiences and life as a woman being appropriated and reduced to a "feeling", you can simply feel like a woman and take all I have, my sports, my spaces, my identity, you can eradicate my identity as woman to people with cervix, pregnant people.

I am not people, I am woman.

I live in Cardiff and am v tempted to start reporting to the police every one of the anti-terf stickers I see. This is going to be great for my steps each day, I have found my motivation to go out walking around the city. Although it may be more productive after payday when I can be suitably attired in some Adult Female Human clothes 😁 Somebody mentioned a suffragette coloured mask, where can you buy those?

This whole debacle has made me more determined to spread the word (so to speak). I am in a women's book club at work - Civil Service, so I have been careful about what I've said, then I saw the books they were reading were things like Trans. Today I shared the news about Newport police and the arrest. I'm actually surprised but very pleased that the women I've met (virtually, through Teams) haven't been Stonewalled. It helps to show that even if the bigwigs in civil service departments buy into Stonewall, it certainly doesn't spread all the way down.

As an aside, would someone explain gardening to me? Or point me in the direction of a handy website. I feel I have missed some useful knowledge and my back garden could probably use some cultivating.

I don't know about the suffragette mask, but Wild Womyn Workshop is an interesting look for quite a few slightly different merch options.. I'm really posting (and I feel a bit paranoid as I type this, but better safe than sorry) because I didn't know if you were up to speed on the person who's responsible for those anime anti-terf stickers; their mental health doesn't seem terribly robust and it would seem prudent to me to take along something like a paint scraper as a precaution against razor blades. I'm probably being unnecessarily alarmist, but he really does seem very unwell and a bit obsessed by the idea of that particularly nasty urban myth.

Over here, a fragile white lady is mistreated by police for stickering (about women) and someone made up something about sharp implements.

Over there, she's the type of person who laughs when a trans person dies and she was postering. Anti trans posters were found (somewhere, I can't quite figure that bit out) and she intended harm by trying to cut trans allies up with hidden sharp implements. There's no mention of anyone else of dubious character.

It's honestly the exact same base story on both sites. It's fascinating how words are mangled whenever the message is retransmitted.

You are right except that the merails and derails keep the thread bumped. And when this one fills up, a new thread will follow.

Sometimes merailers are quite useful. And not just for the live demonstrations on tactics deployed to ultimately silence women discussing their rights and the boundaries of those rights. And their personal boundaries.

Some posters get very infuriated when women disagree with them and this is always good to identify as it helps to judge their credibility for new readers.

Oddly, there are no reports of transmen being picked for elite male sports teams, smashing male sports records, winning prizes for Man of the Year, getting the lead male role in a new blockbuster movie or being appointed as CEO of a top company, but I'm sure we'll hear about something of this order any day now.
