Can I just mention that JK has a new book out - The Christmas Pig, aimed at ages 7-10, looks delightful. I've just ordered a couple of copies as Christmas presents.

No one “ doxed “ the police woman in Marion’s case. Everyone has the right to know the name and number of any police officer who contacts them , speaks to them or arrests them.

I not really sure what the issue. It is well known in Edinburgh where she lives thanks to the local paper. I have seen her drive into the property with her security in tow. She been getting death threats since forever because of her views on trans women, independence etc.

She shouldn't be getting death threats "since forever", she shouldn't be getting death threats full stop.

Regardless of her views, regardless of being seen by the locals, regardless of whether she drives around with an entire battalion of security 24/7, she shouldn't be getting them!

If you can't see any issue about receiving death threats, or believe that they are somehow justified, well that says more about you really.

Most people in Edinburgh DONT know where JKR lives, and if they do , they tend to keep it to themselves. . Just because she has had threats doesn’t mean that it’s open season on her, or any other women.

All have deleted their Twitter accounts and locked instagram. Holly Stars’ FB was still there, with a couple of people defending the ‘photo but most not. What shocks me the most is the actor (female) who seems well reports with a broad base career - did she really not see the risk to her career? I mean I know she doesn’t give a shit about JKR’s safety but the inability to see how it might play out for her? It’s the self righteousness and the inability to see this from other peoples’ viewpoint…

In real life? On my phone having messaged me after seeing it over the weekend. Utterly enraged and pondering this, it might be their first public denunciation of anything TRA. She has my full support - I came 'out' with the IOC regs over the weekend.

Those three activists were claiming victimhood on twitter all weekend for people telling them that they had no right to dox anyone. But they framed it as tranphobic abuse.

The reality is they used the act to promote themselves, and their event. They were virtue signalling to the crowd.

At least two of them orchestrated their communications on twitter.

I saw - and reported - their spiteful and dangerous tweet, but hadn't realised that they were actors.

And yes - they claimed it was transphobic abuse they got- it wasn't. It was anger because they'd placed a woman and her family in danger. Totally unacceptable.

I am not on Twitter I just put JK Rowling Twitter into Google and their names popped up in one of her tweets.

It's fabulous to know just how many TRA's are on our side 😂, do they realise how bad this all looks.

A local paper prepared to print the house number and complete address of an A-lister would not be a very reputable one. Of course the locals are going to know which one is hers, that doesn't mean it should be plastered all over the world via Twitter.

What these three did was deliberate and indefensible. It was an invitation to bring more harassment, abuse and distress literally to JKR's door. What reason for it was there except to intimidate? To refuse to see that is being utterly disingenuous, and for them to have the nerve to pretend any criticism of their vile, witless action is because of who they are is appalling.

I am furious for JKR.

Hopefully the police will take action against these three people.

Their employers PUBLIC website that can be viewed by everyone, no less Hoarding.

To say nothing of the fact that as it was a PR exercise for employer and employee it was very deliberate on the part of both that this should be VERY PUBLIC.
