So, a person who produces neither gamete is officially sexless, neither a man nor a woman

Just answer the question asked

@SillyStrings423 so, for the purposes of meaningful discussion, can you say what assumptions you think I've made and why they are baseless? If you can. Ta.

See, this kind of loaded, prejudiced garbage is precisely why trans women resist allowing you to apply any masculine labels on them

You think that women discussing male perpetrated violence against women is 'loaded, prejudiced garbage'?

That mask is slipping.....

It doesn't really matter if TW want to resist masculine "labels" because at the end of the day you can't dodge the truth 🤷🏻‍♀️

The truth being, what? Trans women deny nothing about their biology. We simply do not believe biology dictates our social identities.

Oy

what is it about the concept of classes that these people find so tricky?

a person can be of the class that produces sperm and have a body that doesn't work. doesn't change what sex class they're in though

if your little brother said he'd started bleeding from his genitals, would you rush him him to hospital or give him a sanitary towel?

helpful thought experiment to help you identify sex classes

No, because they still belong to one of two sex classes. There is no 'third sex' is there (unless you want to enlighten us!)

Honestly, I don't get what you're expecting. That you can constantly beat someone over the head with something they have nothing to do with, and they'll obediently put up with it?

1) aliens exist

2) the can for sure change sex

I'm not entirely sure. Sunday evening, innit?

Expand on what this social category encompasses. Describe it.

We're not talking Temba, his arms wide. It can't be that hard to articulate.

What defines which "sex class" someone belongs to? Since we already established it's not the gametes.

Which begs the question how can sex discrimination be proven? How can a woman prove someone is discriminating against her social and cultural concept if the person doing the discriminating can’t tell her social and cultural concept apart from the cultural and social concept of another person? How can the accuser be sure that the person accused of the discrimination would not treat all people equally no matter their social and cultural concept. It all just becomes conceptual don’t you think?

A luxury belief? How nice.

But what does your social identity have to do with my desire not to share a female space with male bodied people? You can identify how you like, I don't give a shit, but it's nothing to do with me, I just don't want males in female spaces.

The truth I am referring to is that- identities are a two way process. No matter how much a TW wants to avoid masculine labels, you can't stop other people from identifying a TW as male, or as a man, and applying masculine labels to them. That would be true to their lived reality of identifying another human being. You can't wishfully think that away.

It typically encompasses masculine names and pronouns.

What do you mean?

My DH is a lovely man, he is not a threat to women, he is not a danger to anyone. Male violence against women has nothing to do with him, apart from the fact that he is in the sex class of male. Should be allowed in female spaces? If not, why not?

Everyone has something to do with male violence and abuse, it's endemic, you can do things that eliminate it, including maintaining our single-sex spaces, or you can do things (including doing nothing) that perpetuates it.

To chalk this up to "two sexes" is a gross oversimplification

Grin Grin Grin

what gametes do the other sexes produce etc etc

this person is such a loon i'm not sure i can be arsed really

can we talk about aliens again?

Please!!

I’m transdrunk (which is what happens when dh forgets to get the gin and prescription pain meds must be taken with tonic sans gin) and am in desperate need of some alienation from pain until the meds kick in.

@SillyStrings423, a human who does not produce gametes is either too or too young to do so or has a medical condition.

And there is no such thing as a "bimodal spectrum". Your posts shown a complete lack of understanding of basic terms.

Do you think a passing trans woman, whose trans status the person engaging jn discrimination is unaware of, somehow faces less discrimination than a identical looking cis woman?

Do you think that "psst, I was actually born male" would somehow result in less discrimination? That anti-trans discrimination simply doesn't exist?
