I did wonder, @Signalbox. Well, it's a good thing that COPFS is being scrutinised over human rights by an actual court. I do think this will need to go higher, though - but I've faith in Joanna Cherry.

I think if put his acting career above all else, he could maybe naturally gravitate towards friends in London, Hampshire, Sussex. Nothing wrong with that.

But to be able to dress it up as 'fleeing and seeking refuge', like a persecuted Afghani, would be a little cherry on top of the 'poor me' narrative.

And there are twitter berks who buy it, every time. But they're not casting agents, producers and directors. I think he's playing a silly game here, professionally.
