There's no point to any of these polls, on any side, it totally depends on who retweets it.

I was accused of several things at work by a male colleague. Some of it (if it had been true) would have seen a long term prison term or indefinite secure accommodation.

I was told verbally about some of the things I was accused of. In error it turns out. Despite the accuser bad mouthing me to many colleagues and everything being common knowledge, they refused to tell me officially. To protect him.

They have never gave me a written statement detailing the contents - but they investigated me fully for it.

This is on my file and has damaged my reputation irreparably.

What happened to MM happens to others.

To accuse someone of wrong doing knowing that it is untrue is inexcusable.

To make women try to defend themselves without informing them of the full extent of allegations is unforgivable.

Not wishing to be had up for hate-incidenting and all that, but I'm not sure that England is entirely free of ribbon-ninjas?

Yes, how strange that DP announces he is leaving Scotland on the same day that #womenwontwheesht trends at no. 1 and its clear that Marion Millar has shit loads of support. As hard as he is trying these damn women just won't shut up will they?

Why announce he is leaving at all? If he is genuinely worried for his safety then surely he wouldn't announce anything at all publicly?

Was it actually DP who started the whole thing against Marion Millar? Is he involved in the case then?

He fishes for support. Gets it by the bucketload. Can then bide his time and say "all of the fabulous support has caused me to rethink and you've given me the courage to carry on so I think I'll stay to carry on the fight". Cue loads more support.

So from the above article it seems there are three 'charges' though its still very unclear.
The first is the most unclear;
'It is claimed Millar posted a photograph on social media of a sign where a named Scots actor was working at the time.'
From the wording they could be saying she posted a photo of a sign that identified where the 'named actor' was? was the 'named actor' trans? or gay? so she was posting a photo of a sign identifying where a gay actor was working? motivated my homophobia? did she specifically say anything with or refering to the photo of the sign that would be read as inciting people to bad actions?
Was the photo of the sign the ribbons photo? if so how could that be identifying anyone?

So the offended 2, according to that article, were Paisley and a Police Officer……

That may explain a lot.

It sounds like they are charging her for the ribbon Tweet, and for talking on social media about the police interrogating her about the ribbon Tweet.

Kafkaesque doesn’t even cover it.

The charges have been carefully written to sound more serious than they actually are I think.

The "named actor" is a TRA and is well known for appearing in a shit soap. There was a ribbon tied near to the studios where this is filmed. All of this is public knowledge.

Isn't that like posting a picture of the Old Vic and saying that such-and-such an actor works there, and here's some ribbons outside of the Old Vic, to express a free-speech non-intimidatory point of disagreement with them?
