Gay man 'bullied' off Manchester Pride for wearing LGB Alliance hat and t-shirt

LibDem activist delighted by this. Here are two of her tweets. The gay man who turned up in an LGB hat and t-shirt was allegedly advised by police to leave for his own safety and seems to have had the hat stolen.

Another young fool tweeted that 'bullying the guy in the LGB Alliance shirt who came to the protest march is my favourit part of Pride so far xx'. He has since deleted this (possibly because he is now sober and/or has seen how many people had reported this to his employers) and now claims he was just chanting 'Trans lives matter!'. 'Bullying' is an odd choice of words for this. How could anyone think admitting publicly to 'bullying' was a good look?

The LGB Alliance man has been advised that people shouting at him is actually assault if he wants to take it further. Doesn't sound like he does, though.

Honestly, I want transallies to bring really good points, solid research and great evidence. I really do, because it baffles and upsets me that intelligent people are supportive of any wild claim and silly theory, and will go to such lengths to argue that a gay man brings bullying on himself

Where were other gay men who know the difference between same sex attraction and bloody gender nonsense? Have they stopped going to pride as most lesbians have? Perhaps know most gay men will see what we have been talking about for years. Is this going to be enough to turn all those who keep quiet to see what is going on? I hope so.

I'm speaking to a number of gay men who are horrified and quite contrite that they hadn't really noticed what has been going on. We always knew this was coming, but it's no comfort that it has.

There was a Celtic-Rangers game in Glasgow today and afterwards a mob of Rangers “fans” marched through the city centre singing a notorious anti-Catholic song which is banned at Rangers' own stadium, with the police, apparently, just looking on.

Homosexuality is exclusively about same-sex attraction, and lesbians and gay men should not have to be quiet about their sexual orientation because homophobes think it's problematic. You can roll around in as much glitter as you like and wrap yourself up in rainbow flags. You're still a plain, old homophobe because you think same-sex attraction is disgusting and shouldn't be talked about openly.

Why is the concept of same sex attraction so difficult to understand? It is exactly what it says on the tin.
