The reporter quotes a lot of the TRA's tweets which they would probably love but I think the reporter's just given them enough rope to hang themselves.

I'm sure the average reader who hasn't followed the trans debate won't be impressed by someone who calls themselves an "AGP porn addict male" in their twitter bio.

A word on autogynephiles. This comes directly from the mouth of my friend in Ohio. There is a lesbian fest in the woods where transwoman are welcome. Many lesbians started noticing a transwoman about age 60 hanging out at the outdoor showers giving off a creepy vibe, but nobody confronted home. After fest, my friend looked at his Twitter or Facebook and he had posted pictures of women's faces being ejaculated on. Just their faces. I don't know ONE lesbian who looks at women this way. Only a man would take "part" of a woman's body and deem it a sperm receptacle. These men have destroyed my community.
When woman began talking about this dude on the festival's Facebook page later, he went into a narcissistic rage and threatened my friend with "I know where you work". The number of women who felt creeped out by him watching them shower nude, but did not publicize their feelings, was in the dozens.

I've got a relative who does this. Says two opinions, which are completely opposite to one another, and then afterwards makes a claim to which ever one fits the bill

Weird isn't it. It's not like words that disappear after they have been spoken. It's actually written down. There's a written record of it created by them. How can people deny what they wrote, when the words they wrote are right there in front of us. 🤔

Ok, I will say it again - despite one assertion that I admitted I was mistaken about, my first and last post on the subject, after being asked my opinion on the matter, was that I wasn't there and couldn't know the truth. Something that is beyond others, who definitely know the truth, despite not being there.

Now what about the others who are certain they know what happened?

Possibly it might be, you're conflating one person with all trans women. And misgendering them. I won't be reporting it though, if it does get deleted it's not me and it wasn't me last time (Mumsnet may kindly confirm this)

The claim isn't that 95% of people weren't aware that transwomen may have penises, it is that although a majority of women agreed that TWAW, when they were specifically asked whether TW with penises should be allowed in women's toilets, they said no.

Unfortunately science seems to have pasted her by. Ms Atwood seems to have drunk the kool aid, probably because of money as is often the case, or age has caught up with her.

There is no conflation.

Missing has not said "all transwomen are like this". She has described an individual, and said people like that individual are destroying a lesbian community.

Why are you more offended that a person is being described using sex-based pronouns on a forum post they will never read, which does not name them, than you are that this person lurked voyeuristically at the showers at a women's space?

Dozens of women were actually upset and disturbed by this behaviour, but you have no comment on that.

what we are asking though is how you can tell the difference between transwomen who want access to women's spaces for what ever reason and men who want access to women's spaces to perve on women?

unless you think women should just be a resource to be perved over for those who feel like it?

It goes without saying the story is disturbing and the individual is disgusting.

Well, whatever race or religion a terrorist is, you wouldn’t let a convicted terrorist in jail near bomb making equipment would you?

A rapist on the other hand can bunk with female prisoners.

Yet we have safeguards in order to try and prevent terrorist atrocities, would you like to rip up those safeguards?

Some people of the male sex class are a proven threat to people of the female sex class and in order to try and prevent this safeguards were put in place, safeguards such as single sex facilities, you would appear to want those safeguards ripped up irrespective of the effect on those they were put in place to protect.
