Gay men being subject to abuse for their sexuality

Or Homophobia as we know it.

The belief that the trans-activists would stop by just attacking lesbians turns out to have been a miscalculation; gay men are a target now, and the community is only just starting to wake-up to the threat it is facing.

Woke Homophobia

I was told yesterday by a deluded gender theorist that it is trans people who are suffering assault and murder rather than gay people.
[Sigh] murder of anyone is disgusting but this idea that "it's all ok now for lesbians, gay men and bisexual people " is just stupid nonsense. Especially when you have idiots saying that same sex attraction is prejudice.

A lot of handwringing on Twitter from the usual suspects about transwomen under the Taliban. A bit quiet on what happens to gay people...

Oh, that'll be because Stonewall have only just remembered to tweet about the two gay men beaten in Birmingham the other day. You know, the men who were attacked for being attracted to their own 'gender'.
Jorrris · 18/08/2021 09:36

More gay men speaking up for themselves and lesbians

Looks like it's been removed. Doesn't fit the narrative.

FindTheTruth · 18/08/2021 09:42

might have been a link fail by me Jorris. hopefully this works www.tiktok.com/@kurtistrippdied/video/6980039620343942405?is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1

Jorrris · 18/08/2021 09:43

No still doesn't work. 404.

Jorrris · 18/08/2021 09:44

Can you see it still?

FloralBunting · 18/08/2021 09:45

Kurtis often gets removed from tiktok because obviously, he's saying things the groupthinkers don't like. He's worth following on twitter because he often uploads the videos there.

FindTheTruth · 18/08/2021 09:53

that's so weird that the tik tok links are not working. sorry Jorris. maybe search @kurtistrippdied on www.tiktok.com/ and he's the top result

Jorrris · 18/08/2021 10:00

Thanks findthetruth and floral I've found him on tiktok and twitter. 👍

@PurgatoryOfPotholes

I came across this. Apparently slapping someone for saying they wouldn't have sex with someone isn't coercion.

Yeah it is. You can say no to having sex with someone for any reason, whether it's their sex, their taste in music or their habit of using Lynx products. Women, our bodies are not a resource to be fairly shared out between the male population, according to equality legislation. You're not a emergency water standpipe in the 1976 drought!

Now Aidan is justifying slapping women for saying they wouldn't have sex with someone from X or Y group. If women jumped through hoops to avoid saying it out loud, I wonder how long it would be before women's dating histories were scrutinised for evidence that they found X or Y group unattractive and they were confronted for the lack of past dating partners from X or Y group.

You don't have to have sex with anyone to prove you're not prejudiced against them. Ever. And someone who slaps you is using violence to coerce you into submission.

We are notobjects. We, the women, are people.

Ugh. What a show up. Presumably he has been told enough times that you, can't uh slap someone for their sexual orientation, so he switched it to it's because they're transphobic and it's like being racist.

Er, no Aidan, you can't slap someone for being racist either. Strangely enough, you can't go around slapping anyone. Even if you try and load the dice as much as you possibly can to make it look acceptable.

doublemonkey · 18/08/2021 10:17

I have zero sympathy for any gay guy getting shit right now. They've been very vocal in pushing the agenda, despite clearly seeing how it was playing out and were scathing in their disdain for lesbians who were trying protect themselves and stem the tide.

Fuck em.

I sympathise with that view, but I don't agree.
BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 18/08/2021 11:53

While I think many gay men have failed to cover themselves in glory on this, there have been some notable exceptions.

And it’s not like every gay man ‘speaks for his people’ or something. Most of them are just keeping their heads down. And in no universe does any kind of behavior, right or wrong, make them legitimate targets for homophobia

RedDogsBeg · 18/08/2021 13:40

Aiden will support the slapping of that male Labour MP/Councillor(?)(can't remember his name) who is full on TWAW, except for relationship purposes then? He was dubbed TWAW in the tweets and TERF between the sheets I seem to recall, perhaps Aiden should go and re-educate him and advise him he can expect a slap if he doesn't conform?

How warped do you have to be to believe that slapping a woman for holding an opinion you don’t agree with is an attempt to punish that wrong think- in clearer words - coercion?

Thick as mince.

NecessaryScene · 18/08/2021 13:52

Gay men are, if anything, significantly overrepresented among males speaking out against this. It's straight men who are missing in action, on the whole.

FloralBunting · 18/08/2021 18:16

Gay men are getting beaten in the streets still. As a woman who faced that shit too, I will gladly stand with men like Dennis Kavanagh and James Dreyfus who know full well what the stakes are for women, children and LGB people who don't play ball with the Qslur bullies.

ArabellaScott · 18/08/2021 19:06

Hear, hear, Floral.

I can also understand, to an extent, why men are steering clear of this topic. They don't want to impinge on what some see as women's issues.

The thing is, this is everyone's issue.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 20/08/2021 17:31

Just been directed to this thread.

I knew the boxer ceiling existed but was less aware of the hatred showered upon the gay men. Still doesn't amount to the violent threats that GC and lesbian women get, does it - but still so vitriolic.

That'll be the testosterone talking then, combined with the NPD tendencies that are strong in the proponents of the current situation.

trancepants · 21/08/2021 12:09

That's how it works. If there is a disagreement of ideologies and you say 'fuck em' to everyone who later realises they were wrong and you were right, you'll definitely win in the long run!

Like what the actual fuck? It's ok to maybe feel annoyed that you weren't listened to or respected in the first place. But what is the actual point of trying to make an argument if whenever someone eventually realises you are right, you still refuse to engage because they didn't realise fast enough. It's pretty normal for people to not realise something is wrong until they experience it for themselves. Did everyone here back in January 2020 realise we were at the beginning of a very serious global pandemic that was going to severely disrupt our lives? I knew. The information we had before the end of January made it clear what was going to happen and I spent the next 7 weeks or so, literally wondering if I was going mad because almost everyone was so wilfully oblivious that anyone who expressed concern was laughed at for being hysterical. Would it have been ok then to have turned around and say 'fuck you' to people in shock by the end of March because they weren't clued in and copped on as I was? Nope, it would have made me an asshole.

When you get people on side, who previously didn't believe you. Especially when those people are being abused for something that's because of who they are as a person. You don't say 'fuck em.' especially if you actually need people onside to protect the vulnerable women and children who are most likely to suffer.

Jorrris · 21/08/2021 13:47

trancepants yes I would agree with that.

FloralBunting · 22/08/2021 18:06

@yourhairiswinterfire

''Mental illness'' Hmm
It is propery ramping up. Homosexuals are getting beaten in the streets again. We are being told that to have a charity that speaks up solely for us is hateful. We're being called fetishists and worse online. There are little to no support groups that exist for lesbians or gay men that haven't had everything redirected to Trans people.

The pressure to conform is like being in a fucking timewarp back 30 or 40 years, only now, next to the old school homophobes we get people who have assigned themselves as 'allies' doing it, plus all the so called 'LGBT+' organizations.
