It's almost as if - oh, i don't know - as if being accused of transphobia is no longer ENOUGH? Possibly because most people roll their eyes at that accusation, but might, just might take the other one seriously, whether it's grounded in fact or not?

I really doubt Jay is going to be fired, at most he will get a warning for misusing his social media, which he rightly deserves.

But I feel that baseless accusations of transphobia can often end a woman's career, so I'm really glad she is fighting back. It's time these trolls had a dose of their own medicine, maybe next time Jay will think twice about trying to get someone sacked for holding an opinion that is different to his own

And they might be or might not be; the individual issues need to be looked at separately.

Here he tried to get her fired for a view that most people have.

She's understandably furious.

They're using it as an opportunity to smear her even more. As most people bung everyone in the same band if you've one "phobic/ist" label you get them all by proxy. Simplistic fools.

It's extremely unkind to try and get someone fired. From past experience, this isn't ourside rhe realms of possibility, and no doubt would cause a lot of stress to the potential firee.

Also I should point out that Frances is a thorn in the side of Labour's loony left contingent as she calls them out. She has also been vocal about the antisemitism within the party. No doubt the loony left (never thought I'd use that phrase in earnest, but here we are) contingent will try and use this to their advantage. Even if it is just to say...try and stop people from discussing this/try and deflect from this. (This isn't aimed at Moon or Mega, who I do believe are posting in good faith.)

I find it offensive that a Muslim taxi driver told her she was disgustingly dressed and shouldn't be out alone late at night and it appears Uber agreed with Frances.

I’d also be offended by that taxi driver. It’s possible to hold all those views at the same time

It's clear from a previous tweet she was threatening to get legal. Women tend not to threaten men with violence for obvious reasons.

She has every right to defend herself legally.

If someone purposely came after me and tried to get me fired / mess up my career, livelihood, my family’s income, I would not timidly hide away or beg forgiveness. I’d be coming right back at them - as my mother always used to also say “never start anything - but always finish it”

Have you got a screenshot? Some of us are happily blocked from little OJ's Twitter.

I think the racism stuff (generally, not re FB and the Muslim tweet) is where TRAs are doubling down and now calling any view that doesn't support trans rights as racist due to "white privilege". They seem to have appropriated people of colour and somehow added them to the "trans umbrella". Not sure how gender critical women of colour feel about that!

I was lumped into the trans umbrella today for saying on a FB post that I have no gender. "Oh, you're trans then". No mate .....

If you are repeatedly racist, islamaphobic and transphobic then you can't expect everyone to like you. If she gets fired now, it won't be because some relative unknown sent screenshots of her nasty tweets to her place of work, it will be because of the way she reacted.

It is incredibly dense to think someone legitimately criticing someone in the public eye because they've been hateful is the same as someone in the public eye dogpiling and doxxing someone unknown.

You don't have to blindly support everyone who agrees with you about trans people.
