because all females need to be aware of this

And there's no need to have an attack of the vapours because it's a Daily Mail link. For all their multitude of shortcomings, the Mail at least have the guts to publish articles that stand up for women and girls.

Like I say read up, what’s with needing so much help.

Just an attempt to diminish the issue and derail. 🌞

Putting a lot of effort into something they think is irrelevant and a non issue

@Pumperthepumper all I can say is thank god for those who have been fighting this fight so that this issue is not as widespread as it might have been without them. Your apathy is surely the greatest sign of privilege.

@MarshaBradyo

Pumper

Omitted then included

Like I say read up, what’s with needing so much help.

Is it included or not?
Pumperthepumper · 06/06/2021 16:35

@MarshaBradyo

You’re the one claiming it’s a widespread issue.

Yes and you’re saying you don’t care. So what? I don’t need you to.

Ok.
MarshaBradyo · 06/06/2021 16:36

Go have a google Pumper and work it out. You’ve posted so many times you could have done so by now.

Pumperthepumper · 06/06/2021 16:36

@montysma1

It's a huge issue. A mother of 4 kids in Scotland, called Marion Miller is currently facing prison for daring to state that a woman is an adult human female. And that's before the Scottish Government has enacted the insane GRA bill which removes sex as a protected characteristic and its even more demented hate crime bill which will criminalise women who dare to speak up.
I suspect there’s more to this and there’s a surprising lack of information around about Marion Miller. What’s the script?

Surely a greater sign of privilege is pretending to fight a war on the banning of a word that em, hasn’t been banned?

Erikrie · 06/06/2021 16:38

They sure are. Actions speak louder than words...

Google what? Marion Miller? I did - it’s a link to Graham Linehan’s blog, a Think-piece in the Scotsman and something behind the times paywall. Nobody on Twitter seems to know what she’s been charged with.
lifeturnsonadime · 06/06/2021 16:43

As it is an active matter not much can be said about it. But the 'so called' offensive tweets are all there to be seen if you want to Pumper.

The rumour is that someone got upset about a suffragette ribbon picture that was posted and a hashtag underneath it about someone famous hating women.

Millar is a GC woman but there is no hatred in any of her tweets, just concern about the impact of trans ideology on women's rights in Scotland. This is why it is so concerning, her views are not controversial and are based in material reality.

BlueLipstickRocks · 06/06/2021 16:43

It's disturbing to see so called "Pro trans" people posting.

If you support the modern trans ideology you are anti trans. You support the erasure of transsexuals and the continued enforcement of gender roles and stereotypes.

Being "pro transgender" is anti transsexual.

bentleydrummle · 06/06/2021 16:44

@Pumperthepumper oh to be so blasé about the eradication of safeguarding protocols for women and girls.

I see that rumour but it seems very unlikely to be true. I’m sure police Scotland have better things to do that charge someone for a tweet about a ribbon, especially because that’s not a crime.

I think it’s a bit of a jump to say ‘pro-trans’. It’s more ‘we have bigger things to worry about than ‘pregnant employees’ being used instead of ‘mother’ on a couple of policy documents.

Well I should think Marion Miller knows what she's been charged with better than you.

Are you au fait with the recent political landscape in Scotland on this issue? Are you aware of the background of the complainant about the tweet?

I absolutely is true and it is completely horrific.

WeeSisters · 06/06/2021 16:51

Pumper - last week Scottish police talked about taking action against ‘controversial stickers’ which only said ‘Women won’t wheest’. If stickers can be considered a hate crime incident, nothing surprises me.

CheesyCheddar17 · 06/06/2021 16:52

Surely if people are avoiding the feminism section, it's because they've already come across articles similar to this and simply don't wish to see anymore?

Is a huge deal.

This us where is starts. Where does it end?

When does it become a big deal? When it's too late?

everybodysang · 06/06/2021 16:52

Repellent person writes repellent column for repellent paper. Not sure there's much more to it.

Has she said what she’s been charged with? I asked earlier - I couldn’t see it and nobody seems to know.

I am yes, I live in Scotland.

Did they say she’s been charged with a hate crime for stickers? I thought it was for the ribbon, and she hadn’t confirmed.

Where what starts? It’s not happening in any meaningful way. I don’t know about ‘where it ends’, what’s your theory?
