The best research and advice is not to engage with community disruptors and trolls. As ever, if you suspect troll activity, report it to MNHQ.

This is a continuation of the Public Service Announcement thread:

If and when you see threads plopped into FWR, especially a curious repeat of well worn topics, maybe check for poster history before engaging. AS is your friend.

There are a number of posts/posters/threads that are reproduced on Twitter or Facebook to foment controversy using screen shots & flagging to either MNHQ to have threads or posters deleted.. Sometimes, it’s used to approach commissioning editors with ideas for articles. It’s a tiresome tactic that we always have community disruptor posters who themselves post the comments that they then highlight elsewhere as purported evidence of racism, religious intolerance, anti-men sentiments, or transphobia.

This thread will be taking a leisurely stroll through the foothills of community disruption, noting the behaviour of wildlife and interesting flora and fauna en route.

I saw the obvious thread earlier, and just skipped on by!
I do actually really fancy some malt loaf right now.

Lots of deletions tonight... is this the first time a thread has been postponed till morning? With all the important things happening at the moment so interesting there is so much distracting going on. Maybe more will join the club and climb the hill.

My goodness. It's nuts out there. Have had very little time to do anything but pop into FWR to see what's going on and it's nuts. Absolutely nuts. Cray-cray.

All I want to know is what bloody 'Malt Loaf' is. Is it more like Halvah or Vegemite? Will it stick to the ceiling if I throw it hard enough? If it sticks to your teeth will it be amusing to feed to the dog?

Bloody delicious. It's sweet, but not like halvah. More like cake and so sweet in a way that meant it became a far bigger hit in the UK than halvah ever has. Supermarkets do their own brand malt loaf.

And I don't have any. Sob.

Perfect! I'll add an extra fiver, in view of the fact that the man who twitter-liked a post suggesting her house be burnt down was interacting with MNHQ on twitter today.

I think I love you all.

But I prefer LIDL's malt loaf .

Never tried theirs. I used to be passionate about Tesco value malt loaf, but that was because it cost 20p, and I was absolutely skint in those days.

It was a sad, sad day for me when they discontinued it.

But these days I can throw money at proper branded malt loaf and crowdfunders, so I will.

I’ve never had malt loaf. But a tablespoon of malt syrup in warm milk is nice before bed after a long day tramping the hills. A drop of something warming is optional. Milk vodka might work. ☕️

My guilty confession is a pair of (really expensive, but on sale) lace-up, knee high, country boots because I so admired the Duchess of Cambridge’s boots on her trip to Nepal. Sadly, I am too old, too short and too, ahem, fluffy, to replicate her rustic chic. And the boots were so exxy, I can’t bear to wear them in the mud. But I’ll slip them on for a nice walk in the hills.

Well done to everyone on that epic thread! I was so busy with work that I could only keep an eye on the MOJ one. Completely missed all the drama elsewhere on the board!

Gah. Stupidly engaged with latest troll. Sick of this. Why are MNHQ practically encouraging TRAs on Twitter over here? If anyone knows of any place where it is actually possible to discuss women's rights without having to engage with people who want to waste our time, please PM me.

It's annoying, but there are enough of us that we don't all have to engage all the time.

I don’t see that Mnhq can do much else. They are at least sitting on the threads to delete anything straight away before screenshots.

I think the one that finished last night must have been disappointing for the person who started it. They certainly had disordered thinking and frankly any new readers would see that very clearly. It was like they expected something that wasn’t quite what they got.

Ok bored of the latest tourist now. Done my bit for the lurkers
