Do you watch porn?

I've been reading a convo on Twitter where several people are claiming - including a woman - that women watch porn as well as men. My first reaction is, this isn't true. Sure, I've watched it from time to time, usually in the company of men, but it's so boring, so divorced from real sex/real bodies, that I'd almost rather do anything else.

Am I wrong? I realise I'm asking a group of women who are probably going to have a more cynical view of pornography, but I'm having a hard time believing women have a porn habit even remotely comparable to men's.

I did years ago until I watched a documentary following some women and the behind the scenes footage was heartbreaking

Of course some women watch it and just because you don’t and can’t imagine it, it’s pretty naive to think NO women do. I have occasionally but I prefer to watch women masturbating alone or two women together. I’ve got a female friend who likes male gay porn. Some independent porn directors are women. Of course there’s exploitation and a horrible dark side but there are also people trying to do porn ethically.

No. Watching women being prostituted and exploited does not appeal to me. And even if there were no women in it, it would still be part of an industry that prostitutes and exploits women.

Always preferred written erotica, I won't say I've never looked but it didn't do much for me tbh. In recent years I've learned a lot about the industry and also the effect of easily available and ever more extreme porn on men and relationships, obviously none of it good, which has left me with very real moral objections to it in addition to just not finding it very sexy. So no, don't watch and don't intend to.
