That cartoon is hateful and obscene, it caricatures and attacks trans people on a personal level.

One unsolicited willy in any format and however it identifies is one too many. Penis people really needs to deal with those members of their community who think owning a dick is reason to impose it on others.

Butterer, in the amended satirical response cartoon from Left to Right:

A transwoman, two happy Scottish independence supporters, Wings Over Scotland (Stuart Campbell), For Women Scotland, Common Weal (and maybe something else in addition), an LGB(T) person, and a Person of Colour.

Just to make clear, the transwoman on the far left isn't all transwomen but a subset, I'd say in particular from the "POV TERFs in my mentions" transwomen.

This isn't directly related to this thread, but has relevance, so thought I'd post here.

Kicking off on Twatter, Zero Tolerance which are a Scottish VAW charity decided to post an article about poor oppressed Eilidh who was terrified to leave the house because of nasty women in FWS and - specifically - Dumbarton councillor and women's pledge convener, Caroline McAllister. The original article was amended after complaints to remove reference to the women's groups.

It has turned out - shock! - that E is not such a fragile flower and has a pretty horrible posting history. A history that should have set alarm bells pealing - especially in a DV charity.

It will be interesting to see what ZT and the papers do.
