Jessica Yaniv files human rights complaint against beauty pageant
thepostmillennial.com/jessica-yaniv-files-human-rights-complaint-against-beauty-pageant-for-not-letting-her-compete

Yaniv wants $10k

the pageant's policy, will only allow biological females, or "fully transitioned" TW with no male genitals

OP posts:
DialSquare · 26/10/2020 17:55

Yaniv entering a beauty pageant is like me (at 5ft 2) entering a basketball competition.

OnCandyStripeLegs · 26/10/2020 17:59

Yep I'm sure the entry rules are the only thing in between Jessica Vaniv and winning that beauty pageant.

JuliaJohnston · 26/10/2020 18:02

@SunsetScreech

www.jccf.ca/yaniv-targets-beauty-pageant-in-new-discrimination-complaint/

"All of the contestants, including girls as young as six, change their clothing and undress in common areas. No males, including contestants’ fathers, are allowed in that space, to protect the privacy and comfort of the contestants. Contestants from teens and up also compete in a swimwear category."

And there's me wondering why Yaniv was so desperate to take part 🤮
MissMarplesGlove · 26/10/2020 18:03

Like the women he pursued over waxing, the pageant organisers are of Asian origin

OMG, will no-one in Canada call Yaniv on Yaniv's racism? I've always admired Canada as a 'settler-colony' that has managed a reasonably non-racist national policy of multi-culturalism, and has led in terms of trying to make amends to the First Nations peoples who were deracinated and exiled from their national homelands.

But this ... ugh.

Ouch!
BoggledBudgie · 26/10/2020 18:08

Yaniv proves over and over again why we need safe female only spaces.

BoggledBudgie · 26/10/2020 18:08

*safe, biological female only spaces.

Meowza74 · 26/10/2020 18:09

Well, regardless of the gender thing he's ugly as arseholes.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 26/10/2020 18:09

I think Yaniv might win this one. The beauty pageant allows transwomen who have had full surgery, and I suspect they are not allowed to discriminate on that basis. Either they allow TW or they don't.

BoggledBudgie · 26/10/2020 18:10

Sorry, wish I could amend comments. Safe, biological female only and trans women (who have undergone full GRS) spaces. Because any trans woman who’s had surgery to fully transition is not a threat to females in my opinion.

TheMarzipanDildo · 26/10/2020 18:11

Never thought I’d be rooting for a beauty pageant

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 26/10/2020 18:13

Well, Jessica already has a nice purple gown. That'll be just the very dab for the catwalk bit.

littlbrowndog · 26/10/2020 18:15

Lol Yaniv is a shoo in for winning the pageant.

So beautiful 😍

JellySlice · 26/10/2020 18:16

This person has got to be some sort of fifth columnist performance artist, surely?

There has never been a better advertisement for the reality of the TRA movement.

testing987654321 · 26/10/2020 18:27

Oh my, for once, I don't think JY's sex really needs to come into this. does it?

Thanks for the laugh, I needed that!

nauticant · 26/10/2020 18:33

looks like at least one other TW has entered, so it boils down to their policy

Blimey, FindTheTruth that's an interesting parade.

DeaconBoo · 26/10/2020 18:34

What Jessica Yaniv looks like is irrelevant, even in the context of a beauty pageant, in terms of the case they are bringing. There are a million things worse to criticise JY for than JY's looks.
I'm a bit taken aback that so many people here prefer to slag off someone's appearance, to be honest. They could look like Keira Knightley and they'd still be the same person.

It is an interesting case as the organisers have drawn a line that many people seem to draw in their own contexts. Yet should there be such incentives for having major surgery?

MartiniDry · 26/10/2020 18:36

😂😂😂 But Yaniv told Blaire White that (I won't call a man "she", I'll be deleted if I state the correct pronoun, and I'm pretty sure I'll be deleted if I use the third person singular too, so please add your own choice of word ) had both female AND male genitals. Yet this suggests otherwise.

I'm shocked to learn of this development (or rather disappearance) in the Yaniv frilly knickers department. Anyone would think that (pick your own word) tells lies!

MartiniDry · 26/10/2020 18:40

Meowza74, I'm laughing like a drain here. 😂

The clue is in the word 'beauty', matey!

DeaconBoo · 26/10/2020 18:42

Anyway, good reminder in that article about what the BC Human Rights Tribunal said: "Yaniv's predominant motive in filing her waxing complaints is not to prevent or remedy alleged discrimination, but to target small businesses for personal financial gain. In many of these complaints, she is also motivated to punish racialized and immigrant women based on her perception that certain ethnic groups, namely South Asian and Asian communities, are 'taking over' and advancing an agenda hostile to the interests of LGBTQ+ people."

CaraDuneRedux · 26/10/2020 18:48

But this ... ugh.

No Canada is brilliant at making wokey-woke noises about making amends to first nations people.

In reality it does sweet FA.

Multiple "disappeared" first nations women.
www.theguardian.com/world/2019/may/31/canada-missing-indigenous-women-cultural-genocide-government-report

The much celebrated female first-nation Attorney General got the sack when she got too close to a scandal involving Trudeau's family.
www.theguardian.com/world/2019/mar/13/trudeau-liberal-party-jody-wilson-raybould-emergency-meeting

And of course on a personal level, Trudeau has several counts of "blacking up" against him - all of which happened so recently there's no way he could plead the "I didn't know what I was doing" card. (The guy's younger than me - and I didn't need telling as a student or a young professional that blacking up was wrong.)

So Canada has created this ultra-woke mythology about itself, but the reality is very, very different.

Whatwouldscullydo · 26/10/2020 18:51

Give it a rest yaniv.

No one wants to see or touch your dick.

And that last place on earth you should he within a 50 mile radius of , is a room where little girls are getting changed.

CaraDuneRedux · 26/10/2020 18:54

Were it not for the fact that the organisers sound like they're being scammed (and targeted because of Yaniv's racism), I'd laugh like a drain.

In fact I am still laughing like a drain, but trying to hold it together because of the poor women being scammed. (I know I don't like beauty pageants - but it sounds like this might be quite a small-scale thing).

But Yaniv is such a creepy fucker. I hope all Yaniv's tweets about wanting to help girls insert their first tampon come out in court, in the context of "should this person really be allowed into an open plan changing room with 6 year old girls?"

JuliaJohnston · 26/10/2020 18:54

Yet should there be such incentives for having major surgery?
Sorry, what? Winning beauty pageants?! Of the type that also feature 6 year old girls as contestants?

DeaconBoo · 26/10/2020 18:56

Not just winning beauty pageants, but being allowed in 'women's' spaces if you have had surgery but not if you haven't.
