Like the women he pursued over waxing, the pageant organisers are of Asian origin
OMG, will no-one in Canada call Yaniv on Yaniv's racism? I've always admired Canada as a 'settler-colony' that has managed a reasonably non-racist national policy of multi-culturalism, and has led in terms of trying to make amends to the First Nations peoples who were deracinated and exiled from their national homelands.
But this ... ugh.
No Canada is brilliant at making wokey-woke
noises about making amends to first nations people.
In reality it does sweet FA.
Multiple "disappeared" first nations women.

The much celebrated female first-nation Attorney General got the sack when she got too close to a scandal involving Trudeau's family.

And of course on a personal level, Trudeau has several counts of "blacking up" against him - all of which happened so recently there's no way he could plead the "I didn't know what I was doing" card. (The guy's younger than me - and I didn't need telling as a student or a young professional that blacking up was wrong.)
So Canada has created this ultra-woke mythology about itself, but the reality is very, very different.
