More to the point, does anyone know when Kellie-Jay is likely to know whether she will be taken to court over refusing to give her name? As others have said upthread, the CPS may well decide to drop the case.

As for it having nothing to do with this thread: sometimes when the original topic which is Posie's arrest in Leeds has exhausted itself the conversation continues, goes down other paths. Do you want to stop that happening? Why not complain to the mods in that case? Have it forbidden?

I've seen nothing akin to intelligent debate here. I've seen a lot of school-yard bullying, praising each other while attempting to ridicule me, quoting me ad nauseum, pulling certain parts of my posts out of context, trying to get me banned, laughing at your little jibes at me etc. etc., quoting each other with laughing emojis whenever another poster attacks me etc. I've seen no constructive, incisive or thoughtful arguing.

I presume that if they were to drop the case, Posie would then have grounds for a case for false arrest or wrongful imprisonment. But as someone said upthread, these are incredibly hard to bring. (I'd love to hear from someone with actual legal qualifications and experience of this, if anyone's out there).

I've seen 2 or 3 posts from you regarding the legal aspect. Your last one has been answered by at least two posters, yet you haven't responded to them yet. The rest have been assumptions in an attempt to justify the police action. This came across as bad faith to me. Maybe that's why many wanted to ignore you. I don't see any evidence of anyone trying to get you banned.

What are the timescales for such things these days? Is everything taking longer because of the pandemic?
