Well prostitution isn't a safe way to get money anywhere.

Other women and girls live in the zone. They lived there first. Now punters think they are prostitutes (or don’t care if they are or not) and sexually harass them and in some cases rape them. It’s given license to men to behave like Neanderthals.

Both the XR protests, and the covid deniers protests had people arrested and Piers Corbyn has been fined £10,000 for organising the event in Trafalgar Square a couple of weeks ago. The police seem to be making up the rules as they go along but it hasn't just been Posie's protest affected.

There is another video up that shows another of the organisers who drew the short straw it seems and talked to the police for quite few hours A risk assessment was done and posters distributed saying SFW is a political organisation. Well done to those women. Not so much to to WYP who have form for making up the laws as they go while allowing grooming gangs to operate with impunity. Get digging sisters.

@CaraDuneRedux I should have added (but didn't want to derail too much) that I'm impressed the UK women are raising holy hell about Posie's (what seems) unlawful arrest and I'm thrilled you are calling out the aggressive plainclothes man strutting about because I come from a place where we've put up with too much police nonsense for too long. Nip it in the bud. Police violence is toxic masculinity (with racist and misogynistic roots).

I'm also watching self-ID closely because, unlike your Equality Act, US still hasn't passed our Equal Rights Amendment, and I fear it may evolve into a "gender rights" law which would override women's sex-based rights, which we only have in patchwork laws, differing by local governments across the country.
