Good question. The 'crimes of adjacency' charge is beyond tedious. But it is always invoked for Posey Parker. I guess that is indicative of her success in exposing this lobby's methods and agenda.

Prick "News" [sic] is not signed up to IPSO, has no independent scrutiny, no external pressure to adhere to normal journalistic standards and offers no right of reply to people who feel (usually correctly) that their views have been misrepresented.

It is best thought of as a somewhat ranty personal blog run by a special interest group. In fact, I'd suggest the strapline "By dicks, for dicks."

It is a complete irrelevance whether they condone or condemn an individual's views.

But why is political analysis even necessary here? It's quite simple, surely? Either women are adult human females and girls are juvenile human females or they're not. Policy flows from that.

Also from what I understand, Posie came to the topic more from a 'freedom of speech' angle than a 'feminist' one? Yes she seems to care deeply for the rights of women and children, but I don't think shes into all the purity spiral nonsense that seems to be a huge part of much mainstream feminism these days.

Maybe should have said on that post that I absolutely AM a feminist. But I don't care for all the 'omg X has an opinion I don't like, expell her!' stuff. I find it all schoolyard bullshit tbh, especially when talking about a topic that affects literally all women.

What about your use of a racist old trope like "tar brush"? Are you able to do that whilst criticising others?

Tarred with the same brush apparently is how shepherds once marked their sheep. I don't think there is anything particularly racist about the phrase.
